Maradona Considers Replacing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
Argentina legend Diego Maradona believes he is the right man to coach Manchester United.
Maradona currently manages in Mexico in second division with Dorados de Sinaloa.
However, he admits if given the chance, he would love to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Nonetheless, he also admits his allegiance has shifted towards Manchester City.
“If Manchester [United] need a coach, I’m the man to do it,” Maradona told FourFourTwo.
“Manchester United used to be my favourite English team for so long.
“But now I have to say Man City. I know you shouldn’t change like that but it’s because of Kun [Aguero]. We speak a lot and he plays in a very good team.”
Manchester United are in a rebuild mode this summer after finishing sixth-place in the Premier League.
Nevertheless, Maradona would be sadden to know that the club allowed Ander Herrera to leave. Herrera is a player admired by Maradona and considers that Paul Pogba does not work enough or hard enough.
“With United I liked Ander Herrera. Paul Pogba? Doesn’t work hard enough.”
The Frenchman has been linked to a move to Real Madrid this summer.
Solskjaer wants Pogba to remain with the club. However, everything indicates he may be leaving this summer.
