Premier League
Everton vs Arsenal Preview
Arsenal will look to move back into third place in the Premier League as they travel to Goodison Park on Sunday to face Everton.
The Gunners are on a good run of form and are unbeaten in their last six Premier League games, winning five of them.
However, they will know that this will be a big test against an improving Everton side.
The Toffees have won their last two Premier League games, including defeating Chelsea at home just a few weeks ago.
Everton boss Marco Silva will be looking to keep up their good recent run, as they look to finish best of the rest.
Meanwhile, for Arsenal manager Unai Emery, this is a big week with Napoli to come in the Europa League quarter-finals on Thursday.
Despite their good recent form, Arsenal have a tough run in, with five of their last seven Premier League games away from home and tricky trips to Wolves, Watford and Leicester to come.
Emery will know despite their good position, their hopes of a return to the Champions League will go down to the wire.
Team News
Everton manager Marco Silva is expected to keep faith with the same line-up that defeated West Ham last weekend.
Defender Yerry Mina is Everton’s only absentee through injury.
Arsenal have several selection concerns. Granit Xhaka and Laurent Koscielny are both injury doubts.
Meanwhile, midfielder Lucas Torreira is suspended. However, Aaron Ramsey is available despite being substituted with a groin problem against Newcastle on Monday.
Previous Encounters
Arsenal defeated Everton 2-0 in their last meeting in September thanks to goals from Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Everton haven’t beaten the Gunners since December 2016.
Their last meeting at Goodison Park finished 5-2 to Arsenal.
Potential Line-Ups
Everton (4-2-3-1) Pickford; Coleman, Zouma, Keane, Digne; Andre Gomes, Gueye; Richarlison, Sigurdsson, Bernard; Calvert-Lewin
Arsenal (3-4-2-1) Leno; Sokratis, Mustafi, Monreal; Maitland-Niles, Guendouzi, Ramsey, Kolasinac; Ozil, Aubameyang; Lacazette
Prediction
This is a tough test for Arsenal against an improving Everton side.
The Toffees have already beaten Chelsea and drawn with Liverpool at home this season.
It is also a big week for Unai Emery with Napoli to come in the Europa League. A few weeks ago that tournament may have been the Gunners main focus and best chance to reach next season’s Champions League.
But their good recent run has propelled them into the top four and they have a great chance to stay there.
They do have some tricky trips to come in the Premier League and Emery will be desperate not to slip up tomorrow afternoon.
These are two sides in good form and is a close one to call. Arsenal could be missing some key players such as Laurent Koscielny.
However, they have the firepower to get some out of this game but may have to settle for a draw.
Prediction: Everton 1-1 Arsenal
