SmackDown Recap for the March 26, 2019 Episode of SmackDown Live

This week’s edition of Team Blue begins with The New Day making their way to the ring.
Xavier says The New Day have been through a lot together. He thanks the audience for their support.
Big E drops a bomb and says they’re thinking of walking away, because of the way Mr McMahon is treating Kofi. Xavier asks Vince to come down to the ring to tell them why he’s mistreating Kofi.
Mr McMahon begins to talk, but Daniel Bryan and Rowan interrupt. Daniel calls The New Days stale. He says Kofi is a B+ player. He says Vince is right in thinking Kofi doesn’t deserve a title shot.
Xavier says Bryan is only scared of Kofi. Xavier calls him a hypocrite.
Vince calls Kofi a B+ player too. He questions if Xavier and Big are also mediocre. Vince challenges Xavier and Big E to a tag team gauntlet. If Xavier and Big E win, Kofi will get a WWE Championship match at WrestleMania.
Becky Lynch lays down some serious foreshadowing backstage during an interview.
SmackDown Women’s Championship: Asuka (c) vs Charlotte Flair
Result: Charlotte submits Asuka
- Charlotte, for unknown reasons, submits Asuka and becomes the new SmackDown Women’s Champion
One on One: AJ Styles vs Kurt Angle
Result: Randy Orton RKO’s AJ for a DQ win
Rey Mysterio says he will teach Samoa Joe a lesson at WrestleMania.

The Miz takes to the ring. He says he wants his match with Shane McMahon to be a Falls Count Anywhere match to really show how badly he can beat him.
Shane McMahon, leading the way with security and SAnitY, runs out to the stage. He accepts Miz’s stipulation change.
Shane says his biggest mistake was not beating Miz’s dad more. He says Miz’s dad biggest “Mizstake” was impregnating Miz’s mom.
Miz rushes for Shane, but he ends up having to fight off his security.
Tag Team Gauntlet: The New Day vs All SmackDown Live Tag Teams
- Xavier and E eliminate Gallows & Anderson in quick fashion
- Big gets sent through a table
- Out of respect for Kofi, The Usos forfeit their part in the Gauntlet
- Big E buries Rowan under the announce table to last eliminate Bryan and Rowan to win the Gauntlet via countout
