Roman Reigns Announces on RAW He is in Remission
In lighter wrestling news today, Roman Reigns announces on Monday Night RAW that his leukemia is in remission. Roman announced back in October that he would have to take time away from wrestling to seek treatment for his illness.

The Story
Back in October 2018, Roman Reigns made the shocking announcement that he is battling leukemia for the second time in his life. Because of this, he was forced to vacate the WWE Universal championship. He was supposed to be in a Triple Threat match at Crown Jewel also.
For those of you who don’t know, leukemia is a type of cancer that affects the blood stream. Reigns says he was diagnosed eleven years ago. He says he was able to put it into remission very quickly after diagnosis.
Fortunately, history repeats itself and Roman is able to battle the illness back into remission for the second time.
The Return
Reigns took to the ring yesterday to announce he is in remission. What that means is that most, if not all, of the symptoms that come with leukemia are no longer showing in his bloodstream. Whether or not it’s “total remission” isn’t really clear, but Roman did wrestle during the show. Though his physical activity is brief, it surely means he is healthy again if he’s able to perform his signature moves.
Several Superstars show their joy for Roman on Twitter. During RAW, former, and quite possibly best, WCW Champion David Arquette can be seen hugging Reigns as he engages with the crowd.

It’s been a long time coming, but we are no less than thrilled to have Roman Reigns back in the WWE. Hopefully he’s able to compete at WrestleMania 35 this year and pick up where he left off in October.
