Hour One

The show opens with Shane and Stephanie McMahon in the ring with WWE Champion Daniel Bryan and Rowan. They are all there for the contract signing for Kofi Kingston vs Bryan at WWE Fastlane.

Shane gives a brief run through of Kofi’s accomplishments. He introduces Kingston and the New Day make their way to the ring.

Kofi says after eleven years all he wanted was a chance to prove himself. He says none of would be possible without Big E and Xavier Woods. Kofi thanks the fans for all the support he’s gotten his entire career. He says he’s going to beat Daniel Bryan and become WWE Champion.

“And after eleven years… It’s happening BAYBEEEEE!” -Kofi Kingston

Bryan signs the contract. Kofi begins to sign his name as well, but stops when Vince McMahon appears on the entrance stage.

Vince says that he appreciates everything Kofi has done for WWE. However, Vince says he wants to give the best WWE Championship match and he’s replacing Kofi in the title match. Vince introduces someone he believes is more deserving than Kofi for a title match, a returning Kevin Owens.

Kevin Owens signs the contract for the WWE Championship match. He stares down Bryan while the New Day storm away from the ring.

After commercial, Kevin Owens tells Shane and Stephanie he knows they had nothing to do with Vince’s announcement, but he is happy he gets the opportunity. He says that he’d like to team with Kofi Kingston to take on Daniel Bryan and Rowan.

Stephanie says she’ll take it under consideration.

Ricochet says he will prove Lana wrong when they beat Rusev and Nakamura. Black hits Lana with Black Mass and they leave… Ok, not really, but that’d be pretty funny if he did.

Hour Two

Charlotte Flair makes her way to the ring. She says Vince McMahon made the main event of Fastlane better by adding Kevin Owens and taking out Kofi Kingston. But she says that’s almost as big as switching Becky Lynch with herself for the RAW Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania.

Charlotte says that she always does like that’s asked of her, unlike Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey. She says that she is the gold standard and would never lay down the Women’s Title.

Charlotte says that Ronda and Becky fear her, and that’s why Becky got herself arrested and Ronda laid down the title belt. Charlotte says she fears no one, because that’s what a true champion does.

Next Monday on RAW, Charlotte says she will be there so Vince McMahon can officially crown her champion.
