Two WWE Superstars Reportedly Injured
Cultaholic is reporting two major WWE Superstars are suffering from injuries right now. Those two men are Bobby Lashley and Samoa Joe. Joe is suffering from concussion-like symptoms. While Lashley has apparently separated his shoulder.
Samoa Joe
Coming off the heels of one of the best feuds we’ve seen all year, Samoa Joe has made himself one of the top heels on SmackDown Live. Strangely enough, we haven’t seen him on television since losing to Jeff Hardy a few weeks ago. This is apparently due to a concussion Joe may have received during Super Show-Down. Joe was claiming he felt light-headed and dizzy at some points after the Australian show. After his match with Hardy, he is taking time off to properly heal this head injury.
The “C” Word
WWE usually doesn’t address head injuries as much as they do other injuries. This is because they don’t want to cause a big stir in head injuries with the recent lawsuits the NFL have been receiving from former players.
Sasha Banks had to miss multiple weeks of Monday Night RAW because she was suffering from concussion-related symptoms. Because it was related to a concussion, no one was really sure why she was off of t.v. for so long.
Bobby Lashley
When it comes to the former United States and ECW Champion, Bobby Lashley is suffering from a separated shoulder. This would explain his strange loss to Finn Balor this past Monday. It seemed like Lashley was on the path of a major heel push. After his pairing with Lio Rush, Lashley was headed in the direction of the main event scene. But that seemed to simmer after his loss. The injury will sideline Lashley for several months. It may even require surgery.
If Bobby Lashley hopes to make an appearance at WrestleMania next year, he’ll need to have his shoulder surgery sometime soon.
Injuries can come at the worst times; Whether it’s hot off a huge feud like Joe, or in the middle of a big push like Lashley. WWE hasn’t made a statement on either Superstar’s behalf as of right now. This is likely because Joe has a concussion, while Lashley hasn’t made the decision to go in for surgery yet.
