Evolution Final Match Card
Evolution streams live this Sunday on the WWE Network. This pay-per-view can be seen as the “black sheep” of WWE’s event calendar. But maybe this groundbreaking show can find a diamond in the rough.
Most of these matches will feel like they were thrown together to have more women on the show. In actuality, that may be true.
Hug N’ Boss Connection & Natalya vs The Riott Squad
Some fans are upset that Sasha isn’t facing Trish Stratus on this card. Some people are upset that Ruby Riott isn’t challenging Ronda Rousey for the RAW Women’s Championship. The point is, this match has a lot of people upset.
This match was only announced just last week. Hopefully, with each of these women’s great in-ring skill, this match is better than people expect.
Winner Earns a Championship Match: Women’s Battle Royal
It seems like we can’t have a WWE pay-per-view without some kind of multi-man (or woman) match these days. It’s always exciting to see a match like this. The likes of Nia Jax, Torrie Wilson, Kelly Kelly, and Ember Moon will be competing for a championship opportunity.
Trish Stratus & Lita vs Mickie James & Alexa Bliss
Alexa Bliss is reportedly suffering from a concussion. As of right now, she is still in this match. If she is unable to compete, she will be replaced with Alicia Fox.
This was originally two separate matches: Trish vs Alexa & Lita vs Mickie. But WWE decided to combine the two after Alexa suffered an arm injury during Hell in a Cell.
2018 Mae Young Classic Finals: Toni Storm vs Io Shirai
Toni Storm is finally making her name known to the WWE Universe. Io Shirai is one of this year’s Mae Young Classic tournament’s stand out stars because of her insane athleticism. This match should be very entertaining.
NXT UK Women’s Championship: Rhea Ripley vs TBA
The winner of the Women’s Battle Royal will most likely face Rhea. Rhea Ripley is the current NXT UK Women’s Champion after defeating Toni Storm in a tournament final.
Lots of tournaments this year.
NXT Women’s Championship: Kairi Sane (c) vs Shayna Bazler
The rematch from NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn 4. Shayna wants nothing more than to win her championship back after losing it to the crowd favorite, Kairi Sane.
Last Woman Standing SmackDown Women’s Championship: Becky Lynch (c) vs Charlotte Flair
This should be the main event. It also may be match of the night. Becky Balboa has been on a roll in recent weeks with her new personality. But, because she won via disqualification their last bout, Charlotte has one more chance to dethrone her former best friend.
RAW Women’s Champion: Ronda Rousey (c) vs Nikki Bella
Nikki Bella proclaims herself as the starter of the Women’s Revolution. Ronda, much like 99.98% of the WWE Universe, disagree with that claim. Ronda looks to prove Nikki is all talk when or if she retains her Women’s Championship.
