Monday Night Raw
Vince and Stephanie head down to the ring, not very happy. Vince apologizes to everyone, saying he feels embarrassed. He promises to make things right when he finds the 20th championship he needs. Vince asks Goldust to come out so they can talk, but John Cena along with Ambrose & Reigns come out instead. Cena tells Vince he must be crazy to think they are going to listen to him after the stunt he and his daughter pulled at Hell in a Cell.
Vince cuts John off, saying the curse he wants is not a bad thing and everyone will benefit from it. Roman grabs the microphone and tells Vince to shut the hell up. Roman claims this has gone on long enough, and that WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte is still traumatized from what they did to her father last night (revealing they sent him through the time portal). Vince asks Roman what he is going to do about it, as WWE Universal Champion Kurt Angles music hits.
Team vs. Team
Kurt stares a hole through Vince and walks right up to him in the ring. He tells Vince that this ends at Survivor Series. Kurt says that he and Shane challenge Vince to a series of matches, where the winning team takes full and complete control of both shows and Vince’s majority timeshares. Vince laughs and says he is not risking that, but Stephanie interjects and eventually convinces Vince it may be their only chance to legally obtain all company power from the WWE Board of Directors. Vince finally accepts, but demands to know where Goldust is. Kurt responds by trying to put Vince in the ankle lock, but Stephanie slaps him and stands in front of her fallen father. Kurt is not happy but leaves the ring not taking action against Stephanie.
NORMAL MATCH
Jacqueline (with Ivory) vs. Asuka
Objective: Win with Asuka
Backstage, WWE Raw Women’s Champion Trish Stratus is lecturing Alexa Bliss about what it takes to win Hell in a Cell. Alexa tells Trish that although she respects her, she’s not listening. The two are approached by Stephanie McMahon, who reveals she is putting together a 4-Woman Elimination Tag Team Match at Survivor Series. Stephanie says Trish has been a loyal leader lately, and Bliss’ past gives Stephanie all the trust in her and Trish to be the two representatives for Team McMahon. Before Alexa can answer, Trish immediately accepts saying she’s the only one fit to lead the women for Team McMahon.
Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and John Cena enter Kurt Angle’s office with a plan in mind. They suggest they trade Goldust to Vince for Seth Rollins, but Angle argues that if they give up Goldust then Vince will know where to get the 20th championship. John reveals Goldust told them which belt it is and who has it, believing they can go get it before Vince even knows where it is.
Angle agrees and tells them he will make the deal but asks the three to search for the limo that JBL and Shango were last seen in, claiming it’s probably in the arena because Vince won’t want to lose it. They agree and leave, but Angle stops John. He asks John to participate in the Survivor Series one-on-one match by representing Team WWE. Cena accepts and says he will destroy whoever the McMahons choose to face him.
NORMAL TAG TEAM MATCH
The New Day vs. British Bulldog & WWE Light Heavyweight Champion Tyson Kidd (with Natalya)
Objective: Win with The New Day
The New Day grab microphones after the match and are excited to be back. They say they watched Hell in a Cell and after the craziness that took place, they felt compelled to return. The lights go out quickly as Bray Wyatt appears on the big screen. Wyatt is upset he lost his monster Braun Strowman, claiming he was more of a son than a brother.
Wyatt says the light took Braun away from him, and New Day represents that light. Bray says a war has begun, and that they side with the devil. Bray tells New Day they are foolish in returning during a time of war, and they are his clear enemy. He tells New Day that Bray represents the ‘devil’s’ team at Survivor Series, and New Day’s two options are to stay and fight the darkness…. or RUN!
WWE Light Heavyweight Champion Tyson Kidd is trying to walk away from British Bulldog backstage, with Natalya leading the way. Bulldog is complaining that Bret left and now they’re without a leader. Tyson stops walking and makes it very clear he is his own man and not part of the pathetic Hart Foundation. Bulldog scolds Tyson for being disrespectful to his family and elders. Natalya slaps Bulldog and Tyson attacks him, tossing Bulldog off the platform!
Ruthless Aggression
A slow clap is heard as Tyson and Natalya turn around to Vince. Vince loves what Tyson just did, saying he didn’t know Tyson had that in him. Tyson tells Vince he’s better than half the locker room and more vicious, FACT. Vince tells Tyson another fact is that he will represent Team McMahon in a scheduled 8-Man Battle Royal contest at Survivor Series. Natalya wants a championship rematch, which Vince says she will have after she leads the 8-Woman Tag Team Elimination Match to victory at Survivor Series. Vince walks away as Kidd & Natalya look at one another.
NORMAL TAG TEAM MATCH
WWE Raw Tag Team Champion The Club vs. The Fashion Police
Objective: Win with The Club
The Bar come out and attack The Club after the match. A brawl ensues until Stephanie McMahon comes out on stage and breaks it up. She tells them to stop fighting because all five will represent Team McMahon at Survivor Series. She puts The Club and The Bar into an 8-Man Last Man Standing Elimination Tag Team Match and tells AJ Styles he will fight John Cena in the one-on-one match! The two factions argue in the ring until the Fashion Police get up. They then drop the Fashion Police together before leaving.
Ambrose & Reigns are backstage looking for the limo. They turn around to see Seth Rollins is back! Seth hugs them and says he’s glad to be back, confirming the deal Angle struck with Vince for Goldust. Seth also confirms he spoke with Kurt, and the three of them will represent Team WWE in the 8-Man Elimination Tag Team Match at Survivor Series. Ambrose and Reigns are pumped to hear the news, then Seth reminds them they need to find a fourth partner. Ambrose is just happy Seth is back, as Roman tells Rollins its time to go to war. The Shield bump fists.
NORMAL MATCH
Samoa Joe vs. Randy Orton
Objective: Win with Randy Orton
After the match, WWE Universal Champion Kurt Angle comes out on stage. He tells Randy he has been very loyal and asks Orton to be part of The Shield at Survivor Series. Orton accepts. Angle tells Joe he knows he is really a good guy, and that he knows Joe wants revenge on his former partner AJ Styles. He tells Joe he can’t give him AJ at Survivor Series, but Angle offers Joe a part in the 8-Man Last Man Standing Elimination Tag Team Match to get revenge on Raw Tag Team Champion The Club.
Orton extends his hand to Joe, asking him to shake it if he’s in. Joe contemplates for a while, then slaps Orton hand away and leaves the ring. He walks up the ramp and stares at Angle as he walks by him angrily. Angle is disappointed on stage, but he is suddenly attacked by Jinder Mahal and Diesel! Mahal hits the Khallas onto Angle on the stage! Orton runs up and RKO’s Diesel on the stage as Jinder runs away. Medics come out to check on Kurt, along with Orton.
NORMAL MATCH
WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champion Kane ’98 (with Undertaker ’98) vs. Andre the Giant (with Bobby Heenan)
Objective: Win with Andre the Giant
Undertaker deals with Heenan, as Andre picks up the win over Kane. WWE Champion Kevin Owens comes out on stage after the match. He says as new WWE Champion he feels underappreciated because he wasn’t even on the Monday Night Raw card. Owens says he will take this time to officially announce he is on Team McMahon at Survivor Series. Owens claims he and his best friend, WWE United States Champion Sami Zayn, will lead the 8-Man Elimination Tag Team Match against Orton & The Shield because they are simply the best in the ring.
Braun Strowman’s music hits as the Monster Among Men comes out on stage. Owens is frozen in fear and gets a Big Boot for standing in Braun’s way. Braun darts for the ring as Andre escapes. Undertaker runs in the ring to protect Kane from Braun, but Braun calls for a microphone. He says he is joining Team WWE at Survivor Series and wants the three biggest guys McMahon has on his squad. Braun says he found one (referring to Andre), then turns to Undertaker & Kane and tells them they are either with Braun or against him.
A Mon-Star Squad
Vince’s music hits as he interrupts on stage. Vince tells Braun he is in over his head if he thinks the Brothers of Destruction will join Strowman. McMahon offers Undertaker and Kane the chance to fight with Andre and his team at Survivor Series. Andre gets in the ring, believing Kane & Undertaker will join him but they Double Chokeslam Andre the Giant. Undertaker tells Vince to find two more partners for Andre, because he, his brother and Braun will represent Team WWE against Team McMahon in a 6-Man Elimination Tag Team Match. Vince looks enraged on the stage, as Braun hits a Running Powerslam onto Andre that collapses the ring.
