Shane McMahon’s music hits as he comes out on stage to a huge reaction. Shane comes to the ring as a ‘Thank you Shane’ chant breaks out for his performance on Sunday. He admits he is still healing from his match at Hell in Cell, but says it was worth it to get his hands on his father for what he has done to this company. Shane says he understands the stakes are very high at Survivor Series and therefore reveals he can’t compete, fearing it will negatively affect the team. He claims he has someone in mind to take his spot at Survivor Series and he will be in a match next! Finn Balor’s music hits.
NORMAL MATCH
Finn Balor vs. WWE European Champion Rusev (with Lana)
Objective: Win with Finn Balor
WWE Undisputed Champion The Miz and his Miztourage enter Stephanie’s office. Miz is impressed Stephanie has been level-headed since absorbing some of the championship power at Hell in a Cell. Stephanie claims she is a McMahon and much more strong-minded than Jinder or anyone else.
Miz changes the subject and mentions that he should be added to Team McMahon for Survivor Series, claiming he already beat Finn Balor and could easily do it again. Miz offers the services of Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel but says Maryse is still recovering from her Hell in a Cell Match and can’t fight. Stephanie claims Maryse is more useful herself then Dallas & Axel combined, but likes the idea of having Miz on Team McMahon.
She decides that Miz will team with WWE Intercontinental Champion Bobby Roode at Survivor Series in the 4-Man Elimination Tag Team Match against Finn Balor and whoever Team WWE puts with him. Miz smiles and thanks Stephanie, but before he leaves Stephanie tells Miz’s entourage they have a match tonight against the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champions. Axel and Dallas look at each other in fear.
NORMAL TAG TEAM MATCH
Enzo & Big Cass (with Carmella) vs. The Colons
Objective: Win with Enzo & Big Cass
After the match, Enzo grabs a microphone and does his usual routine with Cass. Enzo says they got a bone to pick because Big Cass had to unlock Enzo out of a dumpster. Enzo claims he still smells like trash. Then Enzo reveals he had to find he and Cass’ NXT Tag Team Championships stolen away from them. Cass says the McMahons picked the wrong two guys to try and cross, and therefore they offer their services for Team WWE at Survivor Series. Cass says there’s only one word to describe Team McMahon and he’s gonna spell it out for them, S-A-W-F-T – Sawft!
NORMAL MATCH
NXT & WWE Cruiserweight Champion Hideo Itami vs. Gran Metalik
Objective: Win with Hideo Itami
After the match, fireworks hit the stage as Neville’s music hits! The King of the Cruiserweights is back, and he tells Itami that he is holding something that belongs to him. Neville says he is the true King of the Cruiserweights and that he will get his championship back soon enough.
Neville says he thought he would drop by and tell Itami that he will be on Team WWE at Survivor Series, entering the 8-Man Battle Royal. He tells Itami if he had any guts, he would enter the match as well. Itami accepts, saying he will make sure Neville’s return is short lived. Neville suggests putting the WWE Cruiserweight Championship on the line. Itami laughs and says there is no way he is doing that and claims Neville isn’t worthy.
There’s Only One Word To Describe You
Enzo & Cass are walking backstage when they are suddenly approached by a group of individuals. It’s the Authors of Pain and Sanity! Enzo claims they don’t want any trouble, just as Big Cass levels Enzo from behind! Enzo is shocked as Carmella leans down and slaps him in the face. Big Cass reveals he set Enzo up to get jumped and lose the NXT Tag Team Championship. Enzo asks why as Vince approaches. Vince claims Big Cass is the true star, and that both Cass & Carmella are the future without Enzo.
They throw Enzo in the back of an ambulance and put a straight jacket on him. The ambulance takes off as Vince hands A.O.P. the NXT Tag Team Championships. He tells both NXT factions to follow him and thanks Big Cass and Carmella for their cooperation, claiming they will be heavily rewarded. The NXT stables and Vince leave as the crowd boos both Cass & Carmella.
Go to ‘title management’ and put the ‘NXT Tag Team Championship’ on to the Authors of Pain (Akam & Rezar).
NORMAL TAG TEAM MATCH
WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champion Kane ’98 & Undertaker ’98 vs. Bo Dallas & Curtis Axel
Objective: Win with Undertaker & Kane
After the match, Andre the Giant walks down to the ring apron. He hops up and stares at both Kane & Undertaker. Suddenly from behind, Diesel & Rikishi jump Kane & Undertaker. Kane & Undertaker get the advantage, until Andre comes in and levels the two. The three beat down Kane & Undertaker as Bobby Heenan informs everyone that both Diesel & Rikishi will be Andre’s partners at Survivor Series for Team McMahon.
NORMAL MATCH
WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair vs. WWE Raw Women’s Champion Trish Stratus
Objective: Win with Charlotte Flair
Women’s Dream Team
Charlotte wins, but Alexa Bliss hits the ring and beats her down. Alexa wakes Trish up as the two assaultCharlotte. Asuka’s music hits as she runs out to save Charlotte Flair. Trish and Alexa backpedal up the entrance ramp. WWE Universal Champion Kurt Angle comes out and tells the women that he really likes the idea of Charlotte & Asuka teaming up. He asks the women if they want to team up to face Trish & Alexa at Survivor Series? A loud ‘Yes!’ chant fires up around the arena as Asuka & Charlotte accept. Trish slaps Kurt in the face as he is suddenly attacked by Jinder Mahal again.
Trish & Alexa run away as Jinder picks Kurt up and hits another Khallas on the stage! There are a large number of boos as Jinder picks Kurt up and throws him into the entrance screen. Jinder screams that he will have his rematch, and take back his championship. Mahal poses on stage as the crowd boos him loudly. Vince’s music hits as he and the NXT factions come out. Vince nods in approval to Jinder, who watches closely.
Picking The Team
Vince leads the NXT factions to the ring and tells everyone he is in a great mood. He says he is confident Team McMahon will win at Survivor Series because he has the two most dominant factions from NXT on his side. Vince says in war you need soldiers and that’s what he has. He claims that Jinder has been a loyal bodyguard and champion to the cause, revealing Jinder will represent Team McMahon at Survivor Series in the 8-Man Elimination Tag Team Match with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. Vince then says that Killian Dain will get another shot at the WWE Hardcore Championship that he never lost when he faces Mankind in a Falls Count Anywhere Match at Survivor Series.
My Turn
Shane comes out to help Kurt Angle as Vince continues to talk. Vince says that The New Day also accepted The Wyatt’s oddly stated challenge at Survivor Series and that will be a 2-out-of-3 Falls Tag Team Match. Shane grabs a microphone and says enough. Shane says that Vince thinks he has the upper hand but he doesn’t. He reveals he is officially adding both Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa to the 8-Man Battle Royal, and putting Itami’s WWE Cruiserweight Championship on the line.
Shane also adds Akira Tozawa, saying he has been a former champion and trusts him. Vince is livid, but Shane’s not done. Shane says that Ember Moon will get her NXT Women’s Championship rematch at Survivor Series in a Ladder Match, which makes NXT Women’s Champion Nikki Cross go crazy in the ring. Shane says that he also knows eight guys who want to beat up both Sanity and A.O.P.
Vince laughs saying no one is that crazy, but Roddy Strong’s music hits. Strong, Ohno & TM61 come out on stage. They hit the ring and stare Sanity and A.O.P. in the face. A loud ‘This is Awesome’ chant breaks out, as the good guys get the upper hand in a brawl. A.O.P. and Sanity retreat up the ramp with Vince, who is furious. Shane is in the ring with his new NXT army as they celebrate with the crowd.
