Didier Deschamps Wins 2018 The Best FIFA Men’s Coach
Didier Deschamps won the 2018 The Best FIFA Men’s Coach after his side won the 2018 World Cup in Russia. Additionally, Deschamps became the third person to win the World Cup as a player and coach. Only Mario Zagallo and Franz Beckembauer had done until this past June. He beat off competition from Zlatko Dalic, who led Croatia to the World Cup finals. In addition, French teammate, Zinedine Zidane who one three consecutive Champions League titles with Real Madrid.
Nevertheless, the award is well-deserved after he was able to recollect Les Blues after being defeated by Portugal at the UEFA Euro in 2016 at home.
