In December of last year, Dean “Lunatic Fringe” Ambrose had surgery to repair a torn bicep tendon. The surgery it put him out of action for nine months. Uncertainty surrounded as to when and how he would return. But this week on Monday Night RAW, Dean Ambrose made his return!
Dean Ambrose Returns to RAW
Yes, all of the lunatic fans got to see Dean return on Monday. Let’s give a quick recap.
Recap:
There was suppose to be a contract signing between Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler and Seth Rollins for the Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam. Ziggler was waiting and waiting, and General Manager Kurt Angle kept saying he will be here. He states that Seth is having travel issues. Ziggler takes the contract to look over it.
Ziggler comes back later on, and to ask about the contract. Apparently, Seth Rollins is entitled to have somebody in his corner at SummerSlam. Angle said yes, and that it was only fair. Drew McIntyre has been in Dolph’s corner since they formed a tag team.
As the end of the night comes, Kurt Angle and Ziggler are in the ring with McIntyre. Ziggler signs the contract, because there is still no Seth, and he thinks it’s going to be a forfeit.
Of course, Seth is no coward. Chills rang through the arena as yet another loud “Burn it down!” emerges from the crowd.
Seth came out, and said:
“Man, I am sorry. I have been here for a while, because I wanted you to sign first; so you wouldn’t change your mind after you hear what I have to say.
“I indeed did have travel issues. But they weren’t my travel issues. That clause about me having somebody in my corner was added because I get tired of it being two on one. All the time! You are going to have that Scottish psychopath in your corner, so I figure I would have a lunatic in mine. Retaliation starts!”
At this point, we know he’s back! Dean Ambrose returned to Monday Night RAW to join forces with Seth Rollins.
Future of Dean Ambrose
Ambrose returned with a new look. His hair was shorter, and he was looking more built than ever. Ambrose even had that serious look on his face. What could this mean for Dean Ambrose? Are we going to see a heel turn at SummerSlam?
There have been rumors going around that Ambrose will turn on Rollins at SummerSlam. Will Seth Rollins win the title back? Perhaps, Dean will wait until after the match is over.
Also, it has been stated, that we could see Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins team up again. They would feud with Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre for a while. There is no set future for the Lunatic Fringe at this time. No set story line. It’s just a waiting game to see where the WWE takes the lunatic this time.
As a Dean Ambrose fan, I am just happy to see him back in the WWE.
