James Harden Commits Foul Play During Nightclub Brawl

James Harden commits foul play during a nightclub brawl. TMZ Sports reported the incident this afternoon along with blurry video footage. The footage was very poor at best, making identification difficult. The alleged incident occurred Saturday evening at Mint Nightclub located in Scottsdale Arizona. The Scottsdale Police Department has an ongoing investigation into the matter.

Stop Video Taping Or Harden Will Slap That Shot Away

A member of Harden’s entourage was in a fight at the club when Harden allegedly noticed a woman taking a video of the melee. The woman claims he grabbed her wrist and took her phone and threw it onto the roof. The woman alleged Harden told her to stop taping so she could try to sell the story to TMZ.

After Harden threw the phone, a man from his entourage gave the woman two hundred dollars. Harden came to her afterward and gave the woman another three hundred dollars after nightclub security regained order. The woman climbed onto the roof to retrieve her phone Harden had thrown.

The phone kept recording throughout the whole ruckus. The woman went to the hospital seeking medical attention after the incident. James has not been named as a suspect in a crime. Instead has been named in the police reports as of now.

Opportunistic Showdown Leads To Letdown

The woman clearly had been an opportunist and incited the incident. She received five hundred dollars for her phone and was able to retrieve the phone from the roof. She sought medical attention and sold her story to TMZ Sports.

Harden happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. The Houston Rockets shooting guard was recently named the 2018 NBA MVP. This seems to be a case of opportunity by the woman rather than a criminal case.
