RAW Recap for the February 18, 2019 Episode of Monday Night RAW
Hour One
Monday Night RAW opens with Triple H in the ring. He says it’s time to get excited because they are on the road to WrestleMania. Triple H gives congratulations to Kofi Kingston, Sasha Banks, and Bayley.
Triple H says that, despite it being illegal and she will be arrested the next time it happens, what Becky Lynch did to Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair at Elimination Chamber is pretty cool. Speaking of pretty cool, Triple H says D-Generation X is the first inductee into the 2019 class of the WWE Hall of Fame.
Triple H says Ricochet, Aleister Black, Johnny Gargano, and Tommaso Ciampa will make their main roster debut later that night. To kick off RAW, Triple H sets up a Tables match between Baron Corbin and Braun Strowman.
Tables One on One: Braun Strowman vs Baron Corbin
Result: Strowman wins
- Strowman hits a Running Powerslam through a table to win
After the match, Paul Heyman walks by Braun on the stage. Braun grabs Heyman by the neck, but lets him go.
Heyman goes to the ring to show a video he put together about the history of Brock Lesnar.
Heyman reminds everyone that Brock broke the Undertaker’s undefeated streak. Finn Balor interrupts Heyman, making the walrus leave the ring.
Finn says that it feels great to be champion once again. He says he’s proud to continue the legacy of the Intercontinental championship.
Lio Rush walks out onto the stage. He says Finn doesn’t deserve to be champion, but Bobby Lashley does. Bobby attacks Finn from behind. Ricochet runs down to the ring to help Finn fight off Lashley and Rush.
Two on Two Tag Team: Ricochet and Finn Balor vs Bobby Lashely & Lio Rush
Result: Ricochet pins Rush
- Ricochet hits a Corkscrew Plancha to Rush
- Ricochet backflips off the barricade to evade Lashley; Balor hits a Shotgun Dropkick on Lashley when he’s distracted
- Ricochet hits the 630 Senton on Rush to win the match
Hour Two
Backstage, Triple H is talking with Natalya before Drew McIntyre approaches him. McIntyre says he wants to fight Seth Rollins to prove to Triple H he can main event WrestleMania. Dean Ambrose walks up to McIntyre and says he’s free for a match. Ambrose slaps McIntyre then walks off.
Two on Two Tag Team: Lucha House Party vs Hawkins & Ryder
Result: Dorado pins Hawkins
- Lince Dorado hits a Hurricanrana for the win
Charly Caruso introduces Otis and Tucker to the stage. Charly asks them what the fans should expect from them. Tucker says they are hard working individuals and they will always work hard.
“Steaks and weights, Tucky!” -Otis
Lacey Evans shows up in the middle of the interview. She walks down the ramp and returns just as quickly. Otis and Tucker mimic her and strut up and down the entrance ramp.
Backstage, Roode & Gable confront Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciapma. Gable says things are different on RAW, than on NXT. Gargano says he’s here to takeover. The Revival cut in to show mock praise for Ciampa and Gargano. Ciampa says he’s just here to make a name for himself.
Two on Two Tag Team: #DIY vs The Revival
Result: Ciampa pins Dawson
- Gargano and Ciampa hit the Running Knee/Superkick combo for the win
Kevin Owens provides another update from a movie theater. His son returns with popcorn, but no change. Owens says he’s never been hungrier to get back in the ring.
Hour Three
Sasha Banks and Bayley head down to the ring. The duo celebrate their tag team title win. Bayley says she is very proud for becoming the first WWE Women’s Tag Team champions. Sasha says they will defend the titles against any team from any era and every brand.
Tamina and Nia Jax interrupt. Nia says that she and Tamina will be the tag team champions soon. They start to fight, but Nia and Tamina back off.
One on One: Dean Ambrose vs Drew McIntyre
Result: McIntyre pins Ambrose
- McIntyre wins with the Claymore
Paul Heyman brings part two of the History of Brock Lesnar.
Backstage, Seth Rollins tells Charly Caruso that he is not walking into WrestleMania with a death wish. He says that Brock Lesnar’s reign of terror ends when Seth wins the Universal Championship.
Dean Ambrose approaches Seth and asks him why he didn’t have his back. Seth asks if Dean has lost his mind. Dean agrees and walks away.
One on One: Aleister Black vs Elias
Result: Black pins Elias
- Black wins with the Black Mass kick
RAW Women’s Championship Women’s One on One: Ronda Rousey (c) vs Ruby Riott
Result: Rousey submits Riott
- Rousey wins with the Armbar
