Less than three minutes later at 8:32, Frost collected a pass from Glass and shot it across the ice to Tippet. Owen Tippet then got a shot in behind Sogaard, bringing the score 2-0.
Frost is a Philadelphia Flyers prospect and was dominant during the first period, scoring again with less than a minute left in the first period. This goal brought Canada up 3-0 at the end of the first period.

The momentum was carried over into the second period with Canada scoring for a fourth time just 45 seconds in. Glass gave the puck over to Comtois at the top of the face-off circle, bringing the team to 4-0. Fifty-five seconds later, Nick Suzuki received the puck from a pass from DiPietro. Instead of shooting it, Suzuki passed the puck to Frost who hammered it in making it his third goal of the night.
Six minutes after Frost’s goal, Jack Studnicka scored, bringing Canada to 6-0. Six more minutes after that, Owen Tippet scored his second goal of the night, bringing the score to 7-0.
