Ranked Game(s)

‘Ranked Games’ feature schools that find themselves within the Associated Press (AP) Top 25 Rankings, regardless of who their opponent is.

#18 Michigan Wolverines (2-0) @ #8 Villanova Wildcats (2-0)

Time 6:30 p.m. (est)

Location: Villanova, Pennsylvania, USA @ the Finneran Pavilion

Network: FS1

Game Note: A rematch of last year’s National Championship, this game shouldn’t disappoint. Both teams have seemingly picked up from where they left off a year ago. Other big programs have gotten better themselves, but expect a solid season from these two powerhouses in what should be a good game.

Eastern Michigan Eagles (3-0) @ #1 Duke Blue Devils (2-0)

Time: 7 p.m. (est)

Location: Durham, North Carolina, USA @ the Cameron Indoor Stadium

Network: ACC Network

Game Note: The Blue Devils jumped two teams to receive the number one ranking, which makes sense. They seem virtually unstoppable in the short amount of games played. They survived an early season scare against Army, but that shouldn’t take away from just how good this team is. Experience is really their only downfall if there even is one.

Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks (2-1) @ #11 Michigan State Spartans (1-1)

Time: 7 p.m. (est)

Location: East Lansing, Michigan, USA @ the Breslin Center

Game Note: The Spartans started slowly against Kansas in their season-opening game, but only dropped one spot in the rankings after a solid second half. The Warhawks are no slouch themselves, but Michigan State should come away with the win even if Monroe competes – which they very well may.

Sam Houston State Bearkats (2-1) @ #19 Clemson Tigers (2-0)

Time: 7 p.m. (est)

Location: Clemson, South Carolina, USA @ the Littlejohn Coliseum

Network: ACC Network

Mississippi College Choctaws @ #9 Auburn Tigers (2-0)

Time: 8 p.m. (est)

Location: Auburn, Alabama, USA @ the Auburn Arena

Network: SEC Network+

Game Note: What a turn around Bruce Pearl has done with this program. They defied expectations last year by going a ridiculously impressive 26-7 on the season, including a 13-5 record in the SEC. What’s more impressive is that Auburn seems to be better, destroying South Alabama (to be expected) before running Washington out of the building. Auburn may very well be one of the better teams in the country that no one is talking about.

#24 Marquette Golden Eagles (2-0) @ Indiana Hoosiers (2-0)

Time: 8:30 p.m. (est)

Location: Bloomington, Indiana, USA @ the Assembly Hall

Network: FS1

Game Note: This is a huge early season game, as Indiana and Marquette are very even. Indiana is right behind Marquette in the AP Top-25 rankings, meaning that the winner of this game will more than likely be ranked next week while the loser is not. Indiana has been slightly more impressive in the few amount of games both teams have played, and with home-court advantage, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Indiana as the odds-on favorite. This is one of the big test games for Marquette this season.

North Dakota Fighting Hawks (2-0) @ #10 Kentucky Wildcats (1-1)

Time: 9 p.m. (est)

Location: Lexington, Kentucky, USA @ the Rupp Arena

Network: SEC Network

Game Note: If you’re a gambler, don’t touch this game. Kentucky has done anything but impress since even before the season started, struggling in their exhibition game. 10 is an incredibly kind ranking for this team, who almost fell at home to Southern Illinois. Expect Kentucky to win, but covering whatever the spread may be is asking a lot.

Non-ranked DI Games

‘Non-ranked DI Games’ feature schools that are outside of the AP Top 25, but both teams are DI schools.

St. Francis-Brooklyn Terriers (1-1) @ Richmond Spiders (0-1)

Time: 11 a.m. (est)

Location: Richmond, Virginia, USA @ the Robins Center

Network: ESPN+

North Carolina A&T Aggies (0-3) @ Hofstra Pride (1-1)

Time: 7 p.m. (est)

Location: Hempstead, New York, USA @ the Mack Sports Complex

Indiana Purdue Indianapolis Jaguars (1-1) @ Boston College Eagles (2-0)

Time: 7 p.m. (est)

Location: Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, USA @ the Silvio Conte Forum

Network: ACC Network

Game Note: This game has the potential to be an upset, although that’s not something likely to occur. The Eagles have one of the best players in the conference in Ky Bowman, but the Jaguars played very well against Xavier before allowing them to come back and win. Boston College also struggled with St. Francis (BKN) in their last game, so don’t be surprised if IUPUI pulls off the upset.

Radford Highlanders (2-0) @ Notre Dame Fighting Irish (2-0)

Time: 7 p.m. (est)

Location: South Bend, Indiana, USA @ the Purcell Pavilion

Network: ACC Network

Game Note: This is a very intriguing game, as a young Notre Dame team looks to fend off an experienced Radford squad favored to win the Big South. This is another ACC upset alert matchup, as we’ll find out just how good this Radford team is after this game.

La Salle Explorers (0-2) @ Florida Gators (1-1)

Time: 7 p.m. (est)

Location: Gainesville, Florida, USA @ the Exactech Arena

Network: SEC Network+

Saint Peter’s Peacocks (1-1) @ Bryant Bulldogs (0-2)

Time: 7 p.m. (est)

Location: Smithfield, Rhode Island, USA @ the Chace Athletic Center

Toledo Rockets (2-0) @ Wright State Raiders (1-1)

Time: 7 p.m. (est)

Location: Dayton, Ohio, USA @ the Nutter Center

Network: ESPN+

Game Note: The Mid-American Conference (MAC) may just be underrated this season. Buffalo is legit, Ball State is a threat on any given night, and the Toledo Rockets have lived up to early expectations. Many were uncertain on Toledo this season, mainly because they are inconsistent but very talented. Defeating Oakland on the road was impressive, but this game will serve as a true test for where the Rockets rank. Wright State is atop the Horizon League but was destroyed by Murray State in their last game.

South Carolina-Upstate Spartans (1-1) @ Virginia Military Institute Keydets (2-1)

Time: 7 p.m. (est)

Location: Lexington, Virginia, USA @ the Cameron Hall

Network: ESPN+

Mount Saint Mary’s Mountaineers (0-2) @ Marshall Thundering Herd (2-0)

Time: 7 p.m. (est)

Location: Huntington, West Virginia, USA @ the Cam Henderson Center

Network: ESPN+

Coppin State Eagles (0-2) @ Navy Midshipmen (0-2)

Time: 7 p.m. (est)

Location: Annapolis, Maryland, USA @ the Alumni Hall

Boston Terriers (2-1) @ Albany Great Danes (0-1)

Time: 7:30 p.m. (est)

Location: Albany, New York, USA @ the SEFCU Arena

Network: ESPN+

Seton Hall Pirates (1-0) @ Nebraska Cornhuskers (2-0)

Time: 7:30 p.m. (est)

Location: Lincoln, Nebraska, USA @ the Pinnacle Bank Arena

Network: BTN

Game Note: This is a huge early season game for two teams that may be fighting to make March Madness. Nebraska is the more talented team this season, but Seton Hall looked good in their season-opener with both offensive leaders now gone. This is a huge test game for both teams, but if Nebraska wins this game and through the week they may find themselves in the Associated Press (AP) Top 25.

Niagara Purple Eagles (1-0) @ Loyola-Chicago Ramblers (1-1)

Time: 8 p.m. (est)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, USA @ the Joseph J. Gentile Center

Network: ESPN+

Game Note: Niagara impressed in their home-opener against St. Bonaventure, downing the Bonnies by eight. The Purple Eagles will now test their road skills in a matchup against a Final Four team from a season ago. The Ramblers surprisingly fell to Furman at home, so this game will be more telling of Loyola-Chicago than it will Niagara.

Rice Owls (2-1) @ Houston Cougars (1-0)

Time: 8 p.m. (est)

Location: Houston, Texas, USA @ the H&PE Arena

Network: ESPN3

Western Carolina Catamounts (0-2) @ Southern Methodist Mustangs (1-1)

Time: 8 p.m. (est)

Location: Dallas, Texas, USA @ the Moody Coliseum

Network: ESPN3

Texas-San Antonio Roadrunners (0-2) @ Oklahoma State Cowboys (0-1)

Time: 8 p.m. (est)

Location: Stillwater, Oklahoma, USA @ the Gallagher-Uba Arena

Game Note: This is a battle of two teams that entered the season with some expectations. After watching both teams begin the season, each has a ton of work to do if they expect to be conference contenders. Oklahoma State was outscored by 20 points in the second half in a losing effort against Charlotte, while UTSA fell to a non-DI opponent. Both teams need to desperately get on track and they ironically face one another.

Prairie View A&M Panthers (1-1) @ Texas-Rio Grande Valley Vaqueros (2-1)

Time: 8 p.m. (est)

Location: Edinburg, Texas, USA @ the UTRGV Fieldhouse

Northern Arizona Lumberjacks (1-1) @ Omaha Mavericks (1-1)

Time: 8 p.m. (est)

Location: Omaha, Nebraska, USA @ the Baxter Arena

Texas-El Paso Miners (1-1) @ Arizona Wildcats (2-0)

Time: 8 p.m. (est)

Location: Tuscon, Arizona, USA @ the McKale Center

Network: Pac-12 Network

Jacksonville State Gamecocks (0-2) @ Bradley Braves (2-0)

Time: 8 p.m. (est)

Location: Peoria, Illinois, USA @ the Carver Arena

Network: ESPN+

Game Note: This is an extremely important game for both teams, as Bradley looks to build off an impressive season a year ago. Bradley can compete for a Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) crown, but Jacksonville State had higher expectations within the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC). The Gamecocks did bounce back in a losing effort to Penn State after being blown out on opening night. This is the most difficult test for Bradley thus far, so a win for the Braves would boost their momentum moving forward.

New Orleans Privateers (2-1) @ Alabama-Birmingham Blazers (1-0)

Time: 8 p.m. (est)

Location: Birmingham, Alabama, USA @ the Bartow Arena

Montana State Fighting Bobcats (1-2) @ Colorado State Rams (2-0)

Time: 9 p.m. (est)

Location: Fort Collins, Missouri, USA @ the Moby Arena

Saint Mary’s Gaels (2-0) @ New Mexico State Aggies (2-0)

Time: 9 p.m. (est)

Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA @ the Pan American Center

Game Note: It’s a shame this game won’t be on national television, as this is about as good of a non-ranked, mid-major matchup you’ll get. Both teams are good enough to make the March Madness tournament, but if either loses their conference tournament it’ll be more difficult to get in. This could be a March Madness bubble game, should neither school win their conference tournament.

Grambling Tigers (1-0) @ Wyoming Cowboys (0-2)

Time: 9 p.m. (est)

Location: Laramie, Wyoming, USA @ the Arena-Auditorium

Stetson Hatters (1-1) @ Southern California Trojans (1-1)

Time: 10 p.m. (est)

Location: Los Angeles, California, USA @ the Galen Center

Network: Pac-12 Network

Washington State Cougars (1-0) @ Seattle Redhawks (2-1)

Time: 10 p.m. (est)

Location: Kent, Washington, USA @ the ShoWare Center

Texas Southern Tigers (1-2) @ San Diego State Aztecs (1-0)

Time: 10 p.m. (est)

Location: San Diego, California, USA @ the Viejas Arena

Non-DI Opponent Games

Finally, the ‘Non-DI Opponent Games’ feature non-ranked DI schools who are matched up against a school in DII or lower.

Bryn Athyn @ Drexel Dragons (0-2)

Time: 7 p.m. (est)

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA @ the Daskalakis Athletic Center

Kean Cougars @ New Jersey Institute of Technology Highlanders (3-0)

Time: 7 p.m. (est)

Location: Newark, New Jersey, USA @ the NJIT Wellness and Events Center

Network: ESPN+

Edward Waters Tigers @ North Florida Ospreys (0-2)

Time: 7 p.m (est)

Location: Jacksonville, Florida, USA @ the UNF Arena

Network: ESPN+

Game Note: Despite the 0-2 start, North Florida will be a favorite in the Atlantic Sun with the likes of Lipscomb and Florida Gulf Coast. Expect UNF to get back on track once conference games begin because their out-of-conference schedule is a gauntlet.

Lyndon State College Hornets @ Vermont Catamounts (1-1)

Time: 7 p.m. (est)

Location: Burlington, Vermont, USA @ the Patrick Gymnasium

Network: ESPN+

Game Note: This Vermont team is poised for another America East run, losing only one conference game a year ago. Vermont was left out of March Madness though, as they watched conference foe Maryland-Baltimore County (UMBC) achieve history. Vermont definitely feels they’re the best team in the conference and are on a mission this season. Look out for Vermont to make some noise late in the season, as they have more motivation than any America East team this year.

Nazareth Golden Flyers @ Colgate Raiders (2-1)

Time: 7 p.m. (est)

Location: Hamilton, New York, USA @ the Cotterell Court

Queens College Knights @ Fairleigh Dickinson Knights (0-1)

Time: 7 p.m. (est)

Location: Teaneck, New Jersey, USA @ the Rothman Center

McKendree Bearcats @ Indiana State Sycamores (1-1)

Time: 7 p.m. (est)

Location: Terre Haute, Indiana, USA @ the Hulman Center

Network: ESPN3

Johnson-Florida Suns @ The Citadel Bulldogs (1-1)

Time: 7 p.m. (est)

Location: Charleston, South Carolina, USA @ the McAlister Field House

Network: ESPN3

Mount Aloysius Mounties @ Robert Morris Colonials (0-2)

Time: 7:30 p.m. (est)

Location: Moon Township, Pennsylvania, USA @ the North Athletic Complex

Miles Golden Bears @ Samford Bulldogs (3-0)

Time: 7:30 p.m. (est)

Location: Birmingham, Alabama, USA @ the Pete Hanna Center

Network: ESPN3

Game Note: Samford is now 3-0 entering this matchup, before facing Cleveland State and then eventual big baddie Ohio State. The Bulldogs are showing that they might be a contender for the SoCon crown, a conference that has seen a vast improvement over the past few seasons. Samford has a very good chance of having less than five losses entering conference play.

Dominican-Illinois Stars @ Western Illinois Leathernecks (1-1)

Time: 8 p.m. (est)

Location: Macomb, Illinois, USA @ the Western Hall

Birmingham-Southern Panthers @ Alabama State Hornets (1-2)

Time: 8 p.m. (est)

Location: Montgomery, Alabama, USA @ the Dunn_oliver Acadome

Texas A&M-Commerce Lions @ North Texas Mean Green (4-0)

Time: 8 p.m. (est)

Location: Denton, Texas, USA @ the UNT Coliseum
