WWE Women’s Tag Titles
For many months now, we have seen and heard rumors about WWE Women’s Tag Team titles, but RAW commissioner Stephanie McMahon says soon enough. But when is soon? The WWE Universe thinks it might be sooner rather than later, because real-life cousins Tamina Snuka and Nia Jax are alliances. The two recently joined forces on RAW. Could this mean a new tag team?
Nia Jax Thinks Tag Team Titles Not Yet?
Maybe the Jax/Tamina team will be the first to hold them. But as of now, it doesn’t look promising. When Nia spoke to SportsBible last week during the WWE’s tour in United Kingdom, The Irresistible Force isn’t on board with these new belts for the women:
“You know what, I’m probably going to get some crap for it but I’m not in favor of introducing tag titles.
I don’t think it’s needed anytime soon personally. Obviously, if I were to be put in the tag division I would want Tamina Snuka to be on my side – I just feel like we’d be unstoppable. But I’m not someone that thinks it’s needed yet.”
Future of the Women Tag Titles
Perhaps the Irresistible Force could change her mind later on. I personally think it would could be a great touch for the Women’s Evolution. The awkward part is the Women’s Division doesn’t really have tag teams formed. However, there are some possibilities:
Bayley and Sasha Banks: But honestly, how long can the Boss and Hugger continue to get along before one of them turns?
The Riott Squad: Ruby Riott, Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan have been on top of the division this year.
Absolution: Well, kind of. Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville still are paired.
Tamina and Nia Jax: Surely will be a powerhouse tag team.
I personally think it’s a good idea for the tag titles, and would be a good change for the Evolution. What do you think, fans? Should there be Women’s Tag Titles?
