Flyers and Panthers Both Look to Extend Their Winning Streaks

Florida will start a six game road trip when they face the Fylers on Tuesday. In their last meeting, the Flyers took the game by winning 6-5 in a shootout.

Tale of the Tape

Florida (6-5-3)

Florida is coming off of their fourth straight victory against the Ottawa Senators where the score was 5-1. In that game, Mike Hoffman extended his point streak to 12 games. If he gets one on Tuesday, it will tie Pavel Bure for the longest in franchise history. Speaking of point streaks, Evgenii Dadonov is looking to extend his to 11.

In addition, Florida has won all four of their past games with four or more goals.

Expect Roberto Luongo to get the call in net after James Reimer took the helm on Sunday against the Senators. Luongo has been fantastic in net since coming back from injury with a 1.42 goals against average and a .952 save percentage.

Philadelphia (9-7-1)

The Flyers are coming off of their third straight win against the Blackhawks by blanking them 4-0. In addition, this extends their point streak to six games.

Claude Giroux currently leads the squad with 22 points. Additionally, Giroux had a goal and two assists against the Blackhawks on Saturday. Look for him to find the back of the net.

In addition, look out for Sean Couturier to find the back of the net. He had three points against Chicago on Saturday. As a result, he has seven points in his last five games.

Additionally, Jakub Voracek has 16 points on the season, which is second on the Flyers roster.

Brian Elliot is expected to get the call after making 33 saves and the shutout for Philly.
