Pittsburgh Steelers Take Care Of Business On The Road
An action-packed Week 9 NFL schedule took a pit stop in Baltimore for an AFC North rivalry game. The Baltimore Ravens’ third consecutive loss puts the team under .500 going into Week 10.
The Pittsburgh Steelers, currently leading the AFC North, further solidified their hold on the division. Cincinnati continues to fight to return to first-place.

First Half
The Steelers won the coin toss and deferred, giving Baltimore their first possession of the game. Pittsburgh forced a Baltimore punt after seven plays. Pittsburgh showed explosiveness on their first offensive drive managing to get past midfield. However, the drive ended with a surprise Ben Roethlisberger punt out of the shotgun.
Baltimore responded with a 10-play, 66-yard drive. A 30-yard catch-and-run by Chris Moore highlighted the drive. However, quarterback Joe Flacco missed a wide-open Lamar Jackson in the red zone. As a result, Baltimore settled for a field goal, giving them a 3-0 lead.
Le’Veon Who?
Pittsburgh reciprocated with a long drive of their own. The 9-play, 61-yard drive closed with a seven-yard touchdown grab by Steelers’ running back James Conner, giving Pittsburgh a 7-3 lead. The touchdown was Conner’s first receiving touchdown of the year.
Pittsburgh forced Baltimore’s second punt of the game on the subsequent drive. On the very next drive, Pittsburgh got in the end zone once again. James Conner piled on 41 yards from scrimmage in the 12-play, 75-yard scoring drive.
Steelers’ wide receiver Antonio Brown finished the drive off with a six-yard touchdown, making the score 14-3, Pittsburgh. Justin Tucker’s 23-yard chip shot ended the first half array of scoring. Steelers led the Ravens 14-6 at the end of the first half.
Second Half
The Pittsburgh Steelers received the ball to start the second half. Pittsburgh proceeded to embark on an eight-minute drive to start the half. Ben Roethlisberger managed to finish the drive with a one-yard touchdown, giving the Steelers a 20-6 lead.
Baltimore matched the Steelers’ touchdown with a touchdown of their own. Wide receiver Willie Snead had four catches on the 11-play, 75-yard drive. Baltimore brought the score within seven, trailing Pittsburgh 20-13.
After two consecutive punts, Pittsburgh went on an 11-play, 74-play yard drive. While they settled for only a field goal, they extended their lead to ten. Baltimore failed to close the deficit, only managing to add a field goal to the board. Pittsburgh secured the 23-16 victory to cap off Week 10.
Fantasy Implications
Pittsburgh Steelers’ quarterback Ben Roethlisberger totaled 25.2 points in all fantasy leagues. Running back James Conner managed to score 29.3 fantasy points in all PPR leagues.
Both Steelers’ wide receiver Antonio Brown, as well as Baltimore Ravens’ kicker Justin Tucker, achieved over ten points in all leagues.
