WWE
It’s always a fun factor to see our favorite WWE superstars break records. It’s more like history-making moments that come alive. WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair Breaks WWE Records, this year; with an outstanding outcome.
Charlotte Flair Breaks WWE Records
It all started with Wrestlemania:
Asuka aka The Empress of Tomorrow held an undefeated record for 914 days. Just how long could she last, with this streak. She ended up winning the first ever Women’s Royal Rumble in January. This led to the match at Wrestlemania 34. Charlotte Flair vs Asuka for the Smackdown Women’s Championship. Asuka’s 914-day winning streak stopped there; when she tapped out at Wrestlemania, to the queen; when she was locked tight in a figure-8. A lot of respect was shown, from Asuka, as the streak was broken. Flair made history that day, but the history and record-breaking hasn’t stopped there; nor will it stop.
Flair Breaks Two More Records
At SummerSlam, Charlotte Flair made some history/ record-breaking moments again. At the hottest & craziest pay-per-view of the Summer, we witnessed a triple threat match; for the Smackdown Women’s Championship. Carmella (champion at SummerSlam,) was defending her title against Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. Flair once again became champion. The queen became the first ever WWE women to have the most pay-per-view wins at 24. The record-breaking doesn’t stop there. She is also the first ever WWE Women’s Superstar to be an 8-time Women’s Champion. She held the NXT Women’s Championship, Divas Championship; and she was a 4 time Raw Women’s Champion, and now currently the Smackdown Women’s Champion in her second reign.
Fun Fact
Trish Straus was an 8-time champion. One reign was the Hardcore Championship, which happens to be an intergender title. So that doesn’t count. So Charlotte Flair has the most reigns in WWE history as a Women’s Champion.
Writer’s Notes
Woooooo! Charlotte Flair has been breaking records from the start. The queen has accomplished so much, in her time in the WWE. Her title reigns and record-breaking is far from being over. She has made the Flair legacy alive, and will keep on making it alive! Her father Ric Flair, couldn’t be more proud of her. I know as a Charlotte fan, I can’t wait to see what more Charlotte will accomplish before she retires many “Wooos” down the road!
