“The Anvil” Jim Neidhart Passes Away at Age 63
As first reported by Ringside News, it is with heavy hearts that we announce “The Anvil” Jim Neidhart has passed away early this morning.
It was first announced via Twitter by Cauliflower Alley Club owner, “Killer Bee” Brian Blair earlier this morning:

Accomplishments
Throughout his legendary career, Jim Neidhart wrestled in such promotions as WWF, WCW, Eeastern Championship Wrestling, TNA, New Japan Pro Wrestling, and Stampede Wrestling.
Jim Neidhart is a former WWF Tag Team champion. He was never WWF Champion. However, he did win world championships in Professional Wrestling Federation, Mid-Eastern Wrestling Federation, and Universal Wrestling Alliance.
Neidhart is ranked 61st in Pro Wrestling Insider’s Top 500 in 1994. Additionally, he was inducted into the LPW Hall of Fame in 2011. He was inducted individually and as part of the Hart Foundation into the Canadian Wrestling Hall of Fame.
The Anvil won Wrestling Observer’s Feud of the Year in 1997 for the Hart Foundations rivalry against Stone Cold Steve Austin. Neidhart also made several appearances on Total Divas, with his wife, Elizabeth.
Family
Jim Neidhart has three children, including former WWE Diva’s and SmackDown Live Women’s Champion, Natalya Neidhart. He is also a member of the legendary stable, The Hart Foundation. He mostly tagged with Bret Hart during his run in the WWF.
As is the tradition with the passing of Superstars, there will more than likely be a tribute to The Anvil at the beginning of RAW and SmackDown Live this week.
Right now, the cause is not being released to the public.
Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart certainly left a legacy. We hope the very best for his grieving family and hope the future WWE Hall of Famer rests in peace.
