Terrell Owens To Join Hall Of Fame As An Eagle

The controversial wide receiver played for five different NFL teams. Terrell Owens has made big plays with all of them. Owens enjoyed one of his finest seasons as a wide receiver with the Philadelphia Eagles.

He produced 1,200 receiving yards and snatched 14 touchdowns in his first season with the Eagles. T.O. was a big playmaker for the Eagles and generated some flamboyant celebrations along the way. Some Eagles fans might dislike T.O. for how his time with the Eagles ended, but he did bring excitement to the city of Philadelphia once upon a time.

Terrell Owens is the only player to have scored against all 32 NFL teams. T.O. played 15 seasons in the NFL. He caught 1,070 receptions for 15,934 receiving yards and 153 touchdowns.

Owens owns at least one franchise record with each of the five teams he’s played with. He might have been a complicated individual, but he got the job done. T.O. loved the spotlight, and he fed from it.

Some believe that he’s doing the right thing by getting back at the Hall of Fame committee. It’s not a secret that Owens didn’t get a fair selection process after two years of eligibility. His numbers speak for themselves, and the truth is T.O. should not have waited until this year to be voted in.

The receiver will fire back at his critics by giving his Hall of Fame speech at the place where it all started for him.
