T.O. Decided Not To Attend The Hall Of Fame Ceremony
The wide receiver sent the football world into chaos with his decision to not attend the ceremony. Instead, Terrell Owens will give his Hall of Fame speech at his alma mater. A move that certainly has divided football fans this summer.
Some believe that he’s doing the right thing by getting back at the Hall of Fame committee. It’s not a secret that Owens didn’t get a fair selection process after two years of eligibility. His numbers speak for themselves, and the truth is T.O. should not have waited until this year to be voted in.
There’s also the folks who believe Owens is once again making this all about himself. The receiver will fire back at his critics by giving his Hall of Fame speech at the place where it all started for him. He also made gold foil shirts available for purchase for fans that are interested. The money made from the shirts will help support ALS research in memory of Dwight Clark.
