Terry Rozier Is More Than Ready To Help Take Puma To Next Level

Terry Rozier is now the latest to sign with Puma. The Boston Celtics point guard is trying to make a difference in the basketball world. What better way to do it than coming off a great season, which ended one win short of a NBA Finals appearance. This off-season alone, they’ve signed a few big names to their brand. A few of them being DeAndre Ayton, Marvin Bagley III, and Michael Porter Jr.

Leaving Nike

As many of fans know, Rozier used to be signed by Nike. He left to join Puma because of the lack of recognition and impact they had on him. Although Puma isn’t as big of a brand as Nike, he feels like he can turn that around very quickly. A few days ago, he stated this with pure enthusiasm and confidence.

“Me signing with Puma is basically letting you know, I’m taking over the Puma world. You got guys taking over Adidas, you got guys taking over Nike, whatever. I’m competing with the Puma world and I’m taking over that s–t. From the jump. That’s my whole thing. I feel like I’m going to turn it up because—I ain’t gonna knock nobody on Puma, but I feel like I’m very marketable, I’m the guy that they needed to sign.”

When most think of shoes, Nike or Adidas will always come to mind, especially if the conversation is built around about basketball. It’s very clear that Nike and Adidas are on top of the shoe world. The multi million casual and athletic apparel company Puma plans to change that.

The Future

The future is very promising for Rozier and Puma. Last year, he had a breakout season for the Celtics. As Rozier continues to strive on the court, so will Puma. Nike was just a stepping stone for him. He knows he can actually become something more with Puma than Nike. Don’t be suprised if he and Puma start “taking over the world.”
