The 76ers: Is It Really Sunny In The City Of Brotherly Love
The question some are wondering is this-Is it sunny in in the city of brotherly love for the Philadelphia 76ers? The last time we saw the 76ers, life was pretty good. Yes, they lost to the Boston Celtics in five games, but basketball was alive in the city of Brotherly Love. The 76ers core group was healthy and ready for a great off season.
Rumors of LeBron James coming were off the charts. Jonah Bolden and Markelle Fultz were going to be ready to go for them next season, and they had the #10 overall pick in the draft.
Sixers’ Summer Solstice
So here we are in July and wondering what to think. The 76ers lost a General Manager that no one in the organization really liked. They also lost some key shooters in free agency. Marco “crazy shots” Belinelli and also Ersan “Jordan” Ilyasova left them looking for new shooters. The Sixers summer league was meh. The hopes of James coming to Philadelphia vanished like a fart in the wind. They drafted Mikal Bridges, the beloved Villanova product and then traded him for a draft pick and Zhaire Smith from Texas Tech.

We Can’t Overlook These Young Guns
I am here to say #here we come. People tend to forget how young are core is. Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid will be forces this year. I don’t worry about the bench as much as others. Mike Muscala will be looked as a solid trade before long.
Also adding the very athletic Jonah Bolden and also lets not forget we have heard great things about Fultz. I love Zhaire Smith his defense reminds me of a Andre Iguodala, who I personally loved as a great robin to a team.
Geared Up For Preseason And Beyond
As we draw near the start of the NBA season, Sixers fans should be ready for a solid season. There is a lot of pressure on Coach Brown, considering he is the man behind the madness. I do believe the Sixers will be looking for more also before the season. They can and will play against any team in the Eastern conference. Last but not least #HERETHEYCOME.
