Nemanja Bjelica Bouncing Around Coast To Coast

Nemanja Bjelica has finally found home. First, it was Philly, then decided to go back and play in Europe, and now has finally set with the Sacramento Kings. Kings though gave him much more of a lucrative and stable contract instead of the one-year deal Philly gave him, Sac-Town has locked him in for a 3-year, $20.5 million contract.

Bjelica turned down the one-year contract that the Sixers had originally agreed with to focus on family. He was going to get a stable contract from teams in the Euro-League. That was until the Kings swooped down and nabbed him. The Kings have been offering other players contracts all summer, most not biting, but finally, someone did.

Why The Sacramento Kings

Nemanja Bjelica had a sweet gig set up for him in Philly. He was going to get playing time, play his style more, while still remaining on a playoff team. All of that wasn’t enticing enough for him and his family to stay in the states instead of Serbia. Then Kings GM and also Serbian native Vlade Divac decided to have a chat together.

Divac spoke about the cities love for the team and how the team is on the rise considering of young talent and lots of cap space. Vlade is an idol in Serbia, and the chance to be playing for him must be a dream come true for “Professor Big Shot.”
