Ronda Rousey
In January of 2018, we witnessed one of the greatest debuts ever. At the Royal Rumble, we saw former UFC fighter Ronda Rousey make her way to the ring and point to the WrestleMania sign.
It quickly spread all over the internet: Rousey had officially signed with the WWE.
Quick Ronda Rousey Push?
Rousey had her first match at WM 34 when she teamed up with RAW GM Kurt Angle. The duo took on Stephanie McMahon and Triple H.
Since the win at WrestleMania, we have not seen her in the ring to wrestle. However, she has been on RAW just about every Monday night.
Despite her non-competition in the ring, Rousey seems to be getting a big push. She will take on Nia Jax at Money in the Bank for the RAW Women’s Championship.
The main question on everyone’s mind, though, is this: How is she overstepping everyone else?
Future Of The Former UFC Champion
Reports from Wrestling Inc., that Ronda Rousey has signed a multi-year deal with WWE. WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair said otherwise. Flair stated that it was only a one-year deal.
What is with the fast-track to the title picture? Rousey hasn’t been with the WWE very long but already has a title match. Reports say that Rousey is getting pushed quickly because she wants to get pregnant and start a family soon.
Will Ronda Rousey become the new RAW Women’s Champion on Sunday at Money in the Bank pay-per-view? If the rumors are true about the next steps in her life, it could be a real possibility.
