Smackdown Live. New Channel?

For many years, as WWE fans we have seen our favorite shows jump networks, and dates. Come October of 2019, Smackdown Live will be moving networks. USA Network did not renew the blue brand’s contract. NBCUniversal recently declined to renew deal for the blue brand, but they are expected to renew the deal for Raw.

Raw will be worth three times the current value.

Future of Smackdown Live!

The new deal with Fox could possibly indeed, give the blue brand better ratings. The show will remain on USA Network till October of 2019. Fox approached WWE with a massive offer, to pick up the blue brand. Where will this take Smackdown for the future? There has even been rumors that the show, will become three hours like Raw. Reports even show, they will return to Friday nights and might go back to pre-recorded shows.

Writer’s Take

Where do you think this will lead Commissioner Shane McMahon and General manager Paige, and their blue brand in ratings? I personally think Smackdown should stay LIVE, and remain two hours. I believe since Smackdown has made these changes, they have succeed. What is your comments about the changing of Smackdown? Do you think this will a good change or not?
