In a game that declares the true European champion, Liverpool faces Chelsea in Turkey.
With a chance to catch Real Madrid, Liverpool can reach their fourth UEFA Super Cup when they face Chelsea tonight.
However, the Reds are coming off a penalty shootout loss to Manchester City in the Community Shield last Sunday.
Meanwhile, Frank Lampard’s Chelsea begin their campaign with a tough 4-0 loss to Manchester United on Sunday.
Additionally, this match brings us Stéphanie Frappart who makes history as she becomes the first female referee to officiate a men’s European match.
On paper, however, Jurgen Klopp’s side is heavy favorite against the Blues.
Team News
Klopp’s side will be without Alisson Becker with an injury and will likely feature Spanish Adrián San Miguel.
The goalkeeper made 125 appearances for West Ham United before joining Liverpool.
Meanwhile, the Blues have been hindered the transferred ban from the transfer market.
Additionally, Lampard will likely be without N’Golo Kante after picking up an injury.

Liverpool are the heavy favorite with two days more of rest. Additionally, the Reds will count with Mané from the start after not featuring in the XI last Friday.
With a struggling defense, Chelsea will likely have a poor showing. Not having Eden Hazard who left for Real Madrid and the transfer ban lingering until next year, they will likely be on the losing side against the Reds.
Perhaps Chelsea’s biggest hope stand with the magic from American Christian Pulisic who has shown and emerged as a great acquisition.
