Julen Lopetegui Plans To Land In Premier League
Julen Lopetegui plans to land a job in the Premier League next season. The team being mentioned is the West London side Chelsea.
Meanwhile, the Blues are fighting for a Champions League spot next season. They sit fourth with 68 points. However, Arsenal (66 points) and Manchester United (65 points) lurking with two games to play.
Lopetegui is coming out of perhaps their worst year since becoming a manager. The Spaniard took Spain to the World Cup in Russia and a week prior to the start of the tournament was sacked for taking the job with Real Madrid.
Once he took over at the Casa Blanca, he lost Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus.
Finally, his stem at Santiago Bernabeu ended after losing 5-1 at Camp Nou against Barcelona.
He has told his closes friends that he is perfecting his English as he has been contacted by various English teams.
Prior to accepting the job with Spain in 2016, he rejected taking over at Wolverhampton. Nonetheless, he looks forward to returning to coaching soon.
