Paul Pogba Wants Out, Real Madrid Waits

Plenty of speculation has been done regarding Paul Pogba’s desires for this summer. However, one thing remains true, if the club doesn’t achieve a Champions League spot, he wants out.

Manchester United has gone through ups and downs this season. Midway through it all, the Red Devils sacked Jose Mourinho as many of players had turned on him, Paul being one of them.

Soon after, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over for Mourinho. Despite their huge turnaround, the English side was ousted by Barcelona in the quarterfinals after dramatically leaving PSG behind.

And though they have climbed up the standings in Premier League they are out of contention of all competitions. With two matches left in the Premier League, United sit on sixth place with easy matches against relegated Huddersfield and possible relegation team Cardiff City.

Three points separate them from the fourth spot, but Arsenal and Chelsea are also fighting for that one place. Should Tottenham continue to stumble and lose points to focus in their Champions conquest, they will likely have a chance.

Nevertheless, Independent’s Liverpool-based chief writer Miguel Delaney reports that Pogba continues to be unhappy and wants out this summer.

He sites that the 26-year-old midfielder is eager to take his services to a team that will continuously seek to win trophies at all levels.

Since joining the Red Devils, he’s only won an EFL Cup and UEFA Europa League.

Having come victorious out of Russia 2018 with France, he believes this is the right moment for a move to a winning team.

The winning team he is considering of course is Real Madrid.

However, the Spanish side is not keen of working with his agent and have consider taking on Christian Eriksen instead.

Ultimately it will be a battle of who wants to pay more. A game that the Blancos’ president Florentino Perez is not willing to play as he is keen on bringing Eden Hazard from Chelsea instead.
