RAW Recap for the January 14, 2019 Episode of Monday Night RAW
Sometimes, people don’t have the time or the willpower to sit through all three hours of Monday Night RAW. Since this is the case in some situations, I have decided to create this recap series for any fans that don’t want to watch, but still want to know what happened.
Starting with the January 14, 2019 episode of RAW, I will continue to recap every RAW, SmackDown Live, and NXT.
Hour One
The show opens with a shot of a limo in the parking garage. Vince McMahon exits the limousine and starts heading for what we assume is the backstage area.
Cut to the ring where Braun Strowman makes his entrance. Strowman promises to take the Universal Championship from Brock Lesnar at Royal Rumble. He claims that since Baron Corbin is no longer the general manager, he cannot hide behind him anymore. Corbin interrupts and tells Braun he will win the Royal Rumble match and main event WrestleMania.
Braun chases Corbin to the backstage area. Braun loses Corbin, but after a helpful song from Elias, he eventually finds him hiding in Vince McMahon’s limo.
Braun tears the door off the limo to get to Corbin. As Baron runs off, Vince McMahon walks into the shot and demands to know why Braun destroyed his limo. Vince fines Braun $100,000. Vince then decides to take away Braun’s title shot at Brock Lesnar after he “raised his voice”. Braun flips over the limo in retaliation.

Vince McMahon comes to the ring to announce who will face Brock Lesnar. John Cena interrupts him before he can say anything. Cena claims he still has enough “ruthless aggression” to beat Lesnar. Drew McIntyre interrupts Cena and tells him he’s the only one with any ruthless aggression left. Baron Corbin comes out and makes us all sad. Finn Balor comes out and tells Vince he knows he never believed in him and wants this shot to beat Lesnar. Vince sets up a Fatal Four-Way to decide to faces Brock, after a brawl breaks out.

Third Hour
Cut to a backstage attendant knocking on Alexa Bliss’s dressing room door. He walks in, telling her she’s on next for “Moment of Bliss”. The camera pans over to show she is topless and covering herself with her shirt. She yells at the attendant to leave.
Is “Glass” part of the WWE continuity? Why do they keep hyping it up? Does anybody know?
Moment of Bliss segment. Alexa Bliss, now fully dressed, introduces the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships design. The first champions will be crowned inside the Elimination Chamber, outing three teams each from both RAW and SmackDown Live against each other.
Paul Heyman shows up and joins Alexa. She asks him what he thinks about all the changes happening on RAW. Paul hypes up Brock Lesnar and the Universal Championship match. He says Brock is ready to defeat anybody set in front of him.
The segment is interrupted by Otis Dozovic. He wanders out, mumbling to himself, before spotting Alexa. He apparently takes a liking to her as he shouts things such as “purty lady”.
“Shakalooahh! I’m coming… Tucckkky, (pointing at Alexa) purty lady… Purty lady!” -Otis Dozovic
