Sane Brace Completes 4-0 Rout
Leroy Sane at the brace and David Silva continues his impressive form as City demolish West Ham.

David Silva opened the scoring in the 11th minute – deftly touching home Sterling’s deflected cross at the near post having fired an earlier chance into the side netting. He continues his purple patch of form with 4 goals in his last 4 games.
Pellegrini’s record signing, Raheem Sterling scored the second and turned provider for Leroy Sane to put the game beyond the Hammers in the 34th minute.
West Ham had a couple of chances and Michail Antonio struck the post after half-time. The hosts continued to pose questions of Aymeric Laporte and Nicolas Otamendi.
In the 93rd minute, Sane blasted past Aaron Cresswell’s best efforts on the line in the game’s final act. He left Fabian Balbuena on his back as he coolly converted Sterling’s pass.
City’s lead at the summit remains a mere two points as Liverpool grabbed three points off Watford.
City face Lyon in the Champions League on Tuesday. They entertain Bournemouth next weekend while West Ham will target a win at Newcastle United.
