College Football

Week 11 of West Virginia Mountaineer football is underway. Will Grier and the Mountaineers will head to Oklahoma, and take on the Cowboys of Oklahoma State. Let’s take a look at the West Virginia vs Oklahoma Preview!

West Virginia vs Oklahoma State

In week 10, Will Grier and the Mountaineers had a 47-10 win over the TCU Horned Frogs. Grier averages 300 or more passing yards every game. The Mountaineer quarterback managed to have 343 passing yards, 3 touchdowns, and 1 interception against the Horned Toads.

Oklahoma State Cowboys had a close call, but not a win against the Sooners of Oklahoma. The Cowboys lost 48-47. Quarterback Taylor Cornelius had 501 passing yards and 3 touchdowns, against the Sooners. Could this be a key way to win against the Mountaineers perhaps, or will the Cowboys just fall to 5-6?

Player Matchup

Here is the stats from the season so far from both teams, of some key players you should watch for during Saturday’s game. They might just impress you.

Prediction

West Virginia Mountaineers lost to Iowa State in week 6, and hasn’t missed a beat since. Ranked at number 9, and still strong as ever,  West Virginia is predicted to win over the Cowboys 63.6% out of 100. I am not predicting a massive blow out game, but Will Grier and the Mountaineers will take a win back home to Morgantown, West Virginia.

So get your blue and gold spirit in groove, because it’s time to get ready for West Virginia Mountaineer Football.
