Final Match Card for NXT TakeOver: WarGames 2
It’s everyone’s favorite time of the year. It is time for another NXT TakeOver event. What better way to open Survivor Series weekend than with good old-fashioned WarGames? Can this year’s event live up to the high expectations its predecessor set? NXT TakeOver: WarGames 2 will broadcast live November 17, 2018.
NXT Women’s Championship 2-Out-of-3 Falls Match: Shayna Baszler (c) vs Kairi Sane
At WWE’s first all women’s pay-per-view, Evolution, Shayna Baszler surprisingly defeated Kairi Sane to recapture her NXT Women’s Championship. Of course, this happened with help from the other UFC Four Horsewomen, Jessamyn Duke, and Marina Shafir.
Kairi has invoked her rematch clause, but she’ll have to beat Shayna twice if she hopes to win back her title.
Aleister Black vs Johnny Gargano
After months of built up suspension about who attacked Aleister Black, it turned out to be none other than Johnny Gargano. Gargano claims he was only doing the right thing when it came to attacking Aleister.
Aleister, in retaliation, is surely looking to punt Gargano’s head into the third row of the crowd.
NXT Championship: Tommaso Ciampa (c) vs Velveteen Dream
Velveteen Dream is looking for championship gold. But Tommaso Ciampa isn’t ready to part ways with his NXT championship just yet. Will the Psycho Killer remain champion or will Ciampa fall to the Velveteen Dream.
WARGAMES: The Undisputed Era vs War Raiders, Ricochet, and Pete Dunne
Just by looking at the people involved in this match, you can already tell this will be a fantastic match.
After weeks of ruining matches in NXT, The Undisputed Era are finally getting what’s coming to them. But, it needs to be remembered that The UE won their WarGames match last year.
War Raiders want the tag titles; Ricochet and Adam Cole (BAY BAY) keep butting heads over the NXT North American Championship; Pete Dunne is tired of having his matches ruined by the Undisputed Era.
Will this match live up to the hype and be the visually stunning masterpiece it has the potential to be?
