Game Note: Hartford entered the season with high expectations in the America East. Those expectations within the conference are still realistic, but their play entering this game has been disappointing. The Hawks lost to Central Connecticut State before getting blown out by Utah State. A 0-3 start is not what the Hawks had in mind.

Game Note: Central Florida (UCF) withstood a great test game against MAAC favorite Rider. Despite a sluggish start, the Golden Knights were able to find their offense and run away with a victory. UCF plays some of the best defense in the country, so if the Golden Knights are hitting their shots then they are extremely difficult to beat.

They have looked good in Hawaii thus far, winning against Humboldt and Portland. Hawaii will be their toughest test yet, so expect a good game between two teams with much to prove. This will be North Texas’ biggest test until Oklahoma, which takes place after Thanksgiving.
