Preview: Ohio Valley Hardwood Showcase

The Ohio Valley Hardwood Showcase is one of many early season NCAA basketball events. This event runs through the entire month of November, with five participating DI schools. Kentucky is the only participating school who will not play a non-DI opponent, but the other schools will play two each. Kentucky will host all of their event games but have struggled lately, and need all the help they can get.

Dates: Nov. 11, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 21, 22 & 23

Teams: Virginia Military Institute (VMI), Winthrop, North Dakota, Tennessee State & Kentucky

Nov. 11 – Goucher @ VMI – 1 p.m.

Nov. 13 – Pfieffer @ Winthrop – 7 p.m.

Nov. 14 – North Dakota @ Kentucky – 9 p.m.

Nov. 15 – Carver @ Tennessee State – 7 p.m.

Nov. 17 – East Tennessee State @ Winthrop – 2:30 p.m.

Nov. 17 – Minnesota Morris @ North Dakota – 4 p.m.

Nov. 17 – Fisk @ Tennessee State – 7 p.m.

Nov. 18 – VMI @ Kentucky – 6 p.m.

Nov. 20 – Kentucky Christian @ VMI – 7 p.m.

Nov. 20 – Concordia-Nebraska @ North Dakota – 8 p.m.

Nov. 21 – Winthrop @ Kentucky – 1 p.m.

Nov. 22 – Central Pennsylvania @ Winthrop – 2 p.m.

Nov. 23 – Tennessee State @ Kentucky – 7 p.m.
