Premier League
Arsenal vs Liverpool Preview
The Emirates stadium will host a clash of the heavyweights on Saturday as Arsenal take on Liverpool. It’s a relatively tight affair as second placed Liverpool travel to London in a bid to increase their four point lead over fourth placed Arsenal. The Gunners had a relatively shaky start, suffering two defeats in both their opening games. Arsenal have since gone on a stellar unbeaten run. The new boss Unai Emery has inspired the team. They will host Liverpool off the back off a 13 game unbeaten run in all competitions. However, their form will truly be put to the test on Saturday.
Recent Form
Liverpool have been rampant in the league. They seem to be gaining momentum rapidly. Although they had a slow start by their standards, the Reds are one of only three unbeaten sides in the league so far. They are sitting level on points with first placed Manchester City with 26.
Arsenal are on 13 match unbeaten run as mentioned before. Out of those 13, eight were in the league. They have racked up seven wins and a draw. Undoubtedly impressive.
Squad Updates
The hosts will most notably be missing right back Hector Bellerin. Laurent Koscielny and Sead Kolasinac remain unavailable however. This is due to injuries they picked up earlier in the season.
For the visitors there are no major absentees though. However, Naby Keita and Jordan Henderson had slight hamstring issues which may mean they are rested.
Ones To Watch
The hosts will turn to their forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who is in red hot form. He won’t be alone though as he has Alexandre Lacazette and Mesut Özil to help create some magic.
The visitors will rely upon their deadly front three of Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane once again. Although Mane and Salah look like they’re firing on all cylinders, Firmino has yet to show what he can really do.
Head-To-Head and Interesting Facts
In their last six Premier League meetings, Arsenal have failed to win even once. Liverpool though, have racked up three wins and the rest were draws. There is no doubt Emery will be hoping to change that run.

- Liverpool are unbeaten in their last 11 PL games. And have conceded only four goals this season.
