After failing to get a single shot on target in a dull performance against Napoli in the Champions League in midweek Mohamed Salah has come in for particular criticism. Additionally, the Egyptian King struggles to replicate the prolific performances of his record-breaking debut campaign.
Nevertheless, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane in 4 games and 6 games respectively have not been able to replicate either.
Sergio Aguero finds himself in great form after scoring in three successive matches to take his record to eight goals in just nine starts this season. With six goals to his name in 12 previous league appearances against Liverpool.
The fixture is going to be a promising one and a very important fixture for the rest of the season.
