Jalen Lecque Commits to Keatts and the Wolfpack Nation
The five-star senior guard from New York took a visit to North Carolina State last weekend for the football game against Virginia. On Tuesday morning, he announced that he was taking his talents to the NC State Wolfpack. The athletic superstar, known to some as “Baby Westbrook”, took in 40 offers total while turning down powerhouse schools such as Kansas, Syracuse, and UCLA.

What Does He Bring to Wolfpack Nation?
The Brewster Academy Star brings almost everything to an organization that perfectly fits his style of play. The trait of his game that makes him such a spectacle is not only his ability to dunk the basketball but how easy it is for him to simply get to the bucket. His physical strength separates him from many, resulting in others literally getting out of his way. The athleticism is like no other, and it not only helps him score the ball but it is a plus when it comes to distributing the basketball and playing defense.
Whether the defense runs a zone or picks up in man, he always sees the mismatch or gets his teammates open. Also, his long arms make it almost impossible to hit whoever he guards. Lecque also brings acrobatics and an over-looked jump shot. Yes, he can finish like crazy but if you leave him open on defense he will find a way to knock in the 15-ft to 3-pt range jumper. His character is also much like Kawhi Leonard in a sense. He’s not the loudest off the court with publicity but when he steps on the court to see his opponent, you better believe he will be the loudest in the gym.
The Pack is lucky to have him and praying he decides to stay after next year. There is no telling what can be done with him and potentially many of the other higher ranked recruits looking to join Keatts.
