Jose Mourinho and Paul Pogba’s Relationship Worsens
Manchester United fans awoke to the news of a training ground disagreement between star player, Paul Pogba and manager Jose Mourinho. The pair seemed to exchange words as Pogba reported for Wednesday morning training at United’s Carrington training ground.

What Could Jose Be Angry About?
Mourinho was certainly angry with Pogba about something, but what was it? During United’s defeat to Derby on penalties in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night, the camera panned to Pogba after James Marriot made it 2-1 to Derby five minutes from time. As soon as the camera panned onto Pogba, he got up and left the stadium, as if to make a statement.

It could be that Mourinho is upset with the World Cup winner for not staying to watch the end of a match that United did indeed equalize in, through Maraoune Fellaini deep into injury time.
This is just another segment of a running drama show between the manager and the player. Pogba was quoted midweek about United’s style of play, in what can be seen as a dig at the manager.
“When we are at home we should attack, attack, attack. That’s Old Trafford. We are here to attack. I think teams are scared when they see Man United attacking and attacking. That was our mistake.”
Mourinho was rumored to have stripped Pogba of the vice-captaincy at training in front of all the players, causing another bust-up. In his post-match interview, Mourinho confirmed Pogba was no longer the vice-captain but denied any argument between the pair.
He told Sky Sports: “The only truth is that I made the decision of Pogba not to be the second captain anymore. [There was] no fall out.
“The person who made the decision to be second captain was also me. It’s just one decision which I don’t have to explain.”
Pogba or Mourinho, Who goes?
Does one of the pair have to move on? Will Mourinho get the sack? Or will Pogba be sent packing to another European superpower? All eyes are on the Red Devil’s for the next few weeks, but not for reasons they’d have imagined.
