Arsenal vs Newcastle Preview

The Cottagers have claimed just 1 point from their opening 4 games. That point coming from a 2-2 draw at Brighton losing a two-goal lead. After losing their first 2 matches to champions Man City and a reinvigorated Chelsea under Maurizio Sarri. However, they are back on track after winning their last two games.

Unai Emery’s men showed great resolve against Cardiff to come and take the win after losing their lead twice.

Contrary, Newcastle has managed just a single point this season and have lost four of their last five at home to Arsenal.

Team News:

Florian Lejeune will miss out for Newcastle. Additionally, there are doubts over the availability of Javier Manquillo, Salomon Rondon and DeAndre Yedlin. Matt Ritchie and Jonjo Shelvey will likely play.

Arsenal have a couple of injuries themselves, with Saed Kolasinach due to return next month. Carl Jenkinson is scheduled to return in November. Laurent Koscielny is out with his Achilles injury, while Ainsley Maitland-Niles is missing, too. Arsenal expects to have Alex Iwobi iavailable after illness.

Predictions:

Arsenal are expected to pull off a victory in this one, but Newcastle can always surprise under the stewardship of Rafa Benitez.
