As the first week of College Football comes to an end, new rivalries and schedules have been released. It was confirmed Friday morning that, Clemson will square off with Georgia in 6 years. That seems along time away, but it’s gonna be epic! So Clemson vs Georgia 2024? I can’t wait! Can you?

2024, seems along way doesn’t it. As time seems to fly, it will be here before we know it. The Tigers of Clemson, SC, will take on the Bulldogs from Athens, GA on Aug 31st, 2024. They will be in the Chick-Fil-A Kickoff game, in the Mercedes Benz Staduim, in Atlanta, GA.
What’s the History?
There is a total of 80 some miles, between the two teams. They have met a total of 64 times. The first ever meeting was in 1897; and the last meeting was in 2014. The Bulldogs are currently winning the series: 42-18-4. Both coaches had something to say about the teams.

I’ve said many times that I think the Clemson and Georgia rivalry is one of the best rivalries in college football.
Kirby Smart(Head Coach of Georgia):
Many of the players on both teams know each other, and the proximity of the two schools makes it especially competitive.
Both teams have been in a Chick-fil-A kickoff game twice. Clemson was part of the kickoff game in 2008 and 2012. Georgia was part of it in 2011 and 2016. However, while we wait for Clemson and Georgia to square off in 2024; you can see the Georgia Bulldogs in the 2020 kickoff game against Virigina, and in 2022 against Oregon.
