AJ Lee Rumored to Return at Evolution
As speculated in an article from The Sportster, AJ Lee is set to make her in-ring return soon. The former WWE Divas Champion is supposedly being contacted by WWE for a return at the upcoming pay-per-view, Evolution. This has not been confirmed nor denied by WWE or AJ.
Though she is a fan favorite, AJ Lee didn’t necessarily leave WWE on the best terms. With her husband Phil Brooks (known in WWE as CM Punk) walking out on the company, it was certain AJ was quick to follow. She did make it another year, but she soon retired in mid-2015. She reportedly finally called it quits after WWE suggested a controversial story line where she’d hallucinate unicorns and talk to herself. AJ suffers from a form of bipolar disorder, which would explain her disdain for the story idea. These are just rumors and haven’t been confirmed by either WWE or AJ herself.

It would be in good taste to bring AJ Lee back for the event. It would show WWE is open to the idea of bringing back former Superstars they may have had an issue with in the past.
Others Include…
Along side the possibility of AJ, several other legends have been rumored or confirmed for Evolution. Trish Stratus, Lita, and Beth Phoenix have been confirmed for an appearance. If AJ were to be added, it would bring in more fan hype and possibly more viewers.
It would be great to see AJ Lee back in the WWE. Hopefully, she agrees to a deal and makes an appearance at Evolution.
