Madrid Loan Theo To Real Sociedad

As a result of the transfer, youth team player Sergio Reguilon should replace Hernandez as Marcelo’s backup on the left of Madrid’s defense. Reguilon is impressing in pre-season matches and many feel he is ready for first team action.
With the signing of right back Alvaro Odriozola on the right side, Los Blanco’s defense appears to be ready for the 2018-2019 season. In the final analysis, new coach Julen Lopetegui has at his disposal a healthy mix of youth and experience.
Both Theo and his older brother Lucas Hernandez came up through the youth system at Atletico de Madrid. The older Hernandez remained with ‘Los Rojiblancos’ and recently became the preferred left back for his club. Additionally, Lucas lifted the World Cup trophy with France in July
Conversely, Theo will seek to reignite his career in a loan move that should see the young defender play weekly and gain in confidence.
