Miami Heat Are Willing To Wait For Dwyane Wade’s Decision
Dwyane Wade seems nowhere near a decision on next season, and the Miami Heat seem perfectly okay with that. Losing Wade wouldn’t be a huge loss on the court, but the fanbase would sure love to still have him around.
What Are Wade’s Options?
I love playing the game but watching my son play is the purest joy I’ve ever had in basketball.

Wade could consider retiring to focus on his family. He is very interested in watching his son play basketball and could focus on helping his son develop into an NBA player. This tweet makes me think that retirement could be the decision for Wade. The money opportunity in China could be very interesting though.
BREAKING: Dwyane Wade has agreed to a Lifetime Deal with Chinese brand Li-Ning.
He first signed with the company in 2012, is launching his 7th Way of Wade signature shoe & has 11 standalone Wade stores in China. Li-Ning boasts more than 7,000 stores in Asia.

Wade signing a deal with a Chinese brand could mean nothing in regards to what he plans to do next season. It could also mean that he is very interested in possibly building his brand in China on and off the court. Many Chinese teams have shown interest in him. Some other players have been reported to signing deals in China as well.
Al Jefferson chose to sign a deal in China instead of returning to the Indiana Pacers for less money. Jefferson will get more minutes and be given the chance to play more than he would’ve for Indiana. Lamar Odom has also been reported to have signed in China. They haven’t given out the name to the club yet. Maybe Wade could join one of these two’s squads.
He also very much has the opportunity to return to the NBA. Much like Al Jefferson though, his chance at the most money may be in China. Teams in the NBA are still interested though.
The Heat are going to let Wade decide what he wants, but they have expressed interest in bringing him back. He has a few options to choose from. They all have their pros and cons. No matter what he decides, whether it’s to play or not to play, he will do what is best for him and his family.
