Official: Liverpool pay record fee for Roma goalkeeper Alisson
The Brazilian has signed a six-year deal at Anfield and becomes the most expensive goalkeeper in history. Liverpool has completed the £65million (€73m/$85m) signing of Alisson Becker from Roma.
Alisson becomes the Red’s fourth signing of the summer in Liverpool’s spending spree following Naby Keita, Fabinho, and Shaqiri.
Liverpool brings in Alisson in order to solve their Goalkeeper situation following a series of goalkeepers that have disappointed over the years. Liverpool were the first to act following reported interest from both Chelsea and Real Madrid.
Following their heavy spending in this summer transfer window, Liverpool is the bookie’s favourites to challenge Manchester City for the Premiere league Title.
