Foles Wins The ESPYs Best Championship Performance
St. Nick is the recipient of the ESPYs Best Championship Performance award. No one can’t deny that Nick Foles’ Super Bowl LII performance surprised them. A quarterback that was once thinking about retirement couldn’t possibly have any sort of expectations entering the Super Bowl. But on the biggest stage, Foles did just that. He’s been rewarded for it once again.

Nick Foles’ Super Bowl Performance Is One Of A Kind
The Eagles quarterback threw for 373 yards and three touchdowns against the New England Patriots. Foles also caught a touchdown in the end zone before the end of the first half. St. Nick has been praised for his calmness and composure throughout the big game. An unlikely Super Bowl MVP that is truly deserving of this ESPYs Best Championship Performance award.
Foles is the tenth backup quarterback to win the Super Bowl. What does that mean? It means what Foles did in February is not common. His performance is one of a kind, and the ESPYs got it right.
St. Nick Didn’t Expect To Win This Award
When Foles found out he had won the award, he couldn’t believe it. I can’t say I don’t blame him because he had some fierce competition. He was going against the likes of George Springer, Kevin Durant, and Donte DiVincenzo. All of which are worthy of this award but there could only be one winner.
Eagles fans know St. Nick for his humbleness and his faith in God. He reminded us of his faith when he gave his speech and how much the whole experience means to him. The Super Bowl LII MVP will now add another award in his trophy cabinet.
What’s Next For Nick Foles?
It’s been an interesting offseason for Foles. After playing the best game of his career in Minneapolis, he was named Super Bowl MVP, written a book and ofted to stay with the Eagles.
Many expected the quarterback to be wearing another team’s jersey this upcoming season, but instead, he choose to stay. The Eagles will have an interesting dilemma when the regular season begins and who knows how it will all turn out.
