Brazil advanced to the Round of 16 after defeating Serbia 2-0 in Moscow. In addition, escaped an early exit after 2-2 draw with Costa Rica.

Brazil will now prepare for Mexico who finished second in Group F. While the Swiss will face off with the Swedish national team after finishing second in Group E.
