Samara will host the dispute for first place between Uruguay and hosting nation Russia. In order to finish first in the group, Uruguay will have to win. However, Russia only needs a draw to finish in first due to superior goal difference.

However, Uruguay has yet to concede a goal but has only score twice in the last two encounters against Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Their firepower comes from Luis Suarez and Edinson Cavani who have been off. On the other hand, Russia’s Denis Cheryshev has been on fire with three goals for his side.

Prediction:

Los Charruas will finally let out and will come on top against Russia. In addition, Uruguay has superior names on their squad and are capable of continue making history by winning its first three matches.
