Kevin Durant Leads Golden State To Game 3 Victory
What a game am I right? Well maybe for Warriors fans, Cavaliers fans not so much. Going down 3-0 in any sport is a tough road to overcome. None harder to accomplish than in the NBA, where not one team has come back from a 3-0 deficit. And even with the greatest player in the world, that defense is not going to win you four consecutive games against The Golden State Warriors. Kevin Durant leads The Warriors in a very entertaining Game 3. A game where Steph Curry looked like Shaq from the 3-point line. And Kevin Love dominated most of the game.
There was a lot to look at in this game, and a lot that I took away. The main one being Kevin Durant, if not for him I’m positive Golden State loses this game. Steph, Scoring just eleven points and going 1-10 from three-point range and 3-16 on FG. Safe to say he had an off night, and so did Klay Thompson. Who didn’t do any better than Steph going 2-3 from three and 4-11 on FG attempts. Javale Mcgee was a force to be reckoned with the short time he was on the court. Playing just fourteen minutes but scoring ten points, going 5-7 on FG attempts and had three rebounds.
Player Of The Game
However, the real story of the night is Kevin Durant. Who went 6-9 from three-point range and an impressive 15-23 on FG attempts. Scoring 43 points along with seven assists and thirteen rebounds. This man is the sole reason The Warriors had any chance in this game, The Cavaliers couldn’t figure out how to stop the man, and their defense got torched. If he play’s anything in Game 4 like he did in Game 3. There is no chance Cleveland wins the game, especially if Curry and Klay are on their game.
Lebron Gets Triple Double, But It Isn’t Enough
Lebron played well tonight, but he didn’t play well enough. Getting out to an early lead the majority of the first half Lebron James, well looked like Lebron James. Blowing past people at top speed with sheer force. That not even The Rock dare contest it. And it seemed that he had given his team the early momentum booster they needed. However, sloppy defense, mismatches and not enough people producing. Turned out to be the Cavs heel in Game 3. I don’t expect The Cavaliers to be swept at home, but I also don’t believe that they have any chance at winning this series after losing today’s game.
