Impact Wrestling Announces Two New Signings
Business has been tough for Impact Wrestling in recent years and 2018 has been no exception. So in order to keep the money coming in, Impact has brought in two well-known wrestlers from the Indie Circuit. These two superstars are Joe Hendry and Rich Swann.
Some fans will remember Swann from his days in WWE’s cruiserweight division. However, fewer people will know who Hendry is. Joe Hendry has spent most of his career on the Indie Circuit in the United Kingdom. Hendry first made his debut with a major promotion earlier this year at Ring of Honor. Now at Impact, Hendry will look to make a bigger name for himself on a bigger stage.
As previously mentioned, Rich Swann recently had a run in WWE. This run included him being crowned cruiserweight champion. His run ended abruptly when he was arrested for domestic battery last December. Swann ended up being cleared of those charges but his run in WWE was over nevertheless. Since then, Swann went into hiding before finally resurfacing on the indie circuit last month. Returning to wrestling with Impact is a great way for him to get his name out there once again after what happened last winter.
Hopefully, this opportunity works out for both Swann and Hendry and Impact’s business improves because of it.

I’m really happy that Swann is getting another opportunity to show how good he is in the ring. I really think this move will benefit Swann. Furthermore, I believe this signing will improve Impact’s ratings. The same can be said for Hendry. Being an up and coming superstar, Hendry has the chance to really be the Anchor for the show similar to how AJ Styles was.
